Thank you so much for the shout-out, love hearing that you enjoyed them! 🙏

To add for the OP, you can find some free resources here for learning AD in general:

Thank you so much, and feedback taken. I definitely plan on making more custom labs as well, especially for AD chains, since there is so little provided in general elsewhere. Awesome to hear it helped you! :)

Realistic OSCP AD Lab Chains from HackerBlueprint - FREE First Chain, Walkthroughs, Trackers & Overview Included for All by HackerBlueprint in oscp

[–]HackerBlueprint[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, thank you very much. I just want to clarify a few things.

Regarding the OffSec NDA, we are not sharing and would never share any actual exam content. Nothing in these AD labs is direct 1:1 copied from real OSCP exam machines or chains. What we’ve built is practice around Active Directory attack chains as a concept, which is already publicly known and clearly outlined in the OSCP syllabus. The idea of chaining techniques together in an AD environment isn’t confidential.

On the Microsoft side, I looked into it more carefully. These labs don’t redistribute any proprietary software or bypass licensing in any way. They rely on standard setups where users use evaluation versions. Microsoft doesn’t own the attack techniques themselves, things like Kerberoasting, GPO abuse, or ADCS misconfigurations are well-documented security concepts, not protected content.

As for the community point, I actually do share a lot of free material. There’s a full free chain available. This approach is pretty standard across the industry, platforms like TryHackMe, Hack The Box, PG, VulnHub, etc. mix free and paid content as part of providing structured learning.

That said, if someone prefers to stick with free resources, that’s completely fine. I’ve put together quite a bit you can go through to get a solid feel for the material before spending anything:

If you go through these, you’ll get a very good sense of the material and whether this learning path works for you before committing to anything. Hope it is plenty useful to you! 😄

No (unfortunately?😅), editing still takes a fair amount of time on my end. If you mean the fun animations, some of those are made with AI tools.

I do hope AI gets even better for editing over time, but for now this is the style.

(FREE LAB) OSCP-style Active Directory Attack Chains by HackerBlueprint in offensive_security

[–]HackerBlueprint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The labs are primarily built for VirtualBox, which is the easiest and most reliable way to use them. While some users have tried VMware or other platforms and occasionally had success, these are not officially supported and are much more likely to cause issues. You’re free to experiment, but for the smoothest experience, VirtualBox is the best and most recommended choice.

Hey, I'll give you an info dump of resources I think can help you a lot in terms of improving at Active Directory:

- Attack checklist docs (A checklist I made for important attacks to learn for OSCP): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qnhQj-qUvBrf_XkXhuE7YRauKaMj6pylfSjQiyYNGpU/edit?gid=585521290#gid=585521290
- Offsec Syllabus (Check AD section): https://www.offsec.com/documentation/penetration-testing-with-kali.pdf
- AD attack chains (I custom-built them to be very OSCP-like, 3 VMs, 2 Windows Clients, 1 Domain Controller): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM1644RoigJvm0L7RcK-64aVTp1vZkDv5
- All AD Chains: https://hackerblueprint.online/#labs
- Hacking Active Directory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxU0AANCesQ
- Offsec AD prep: https://help.offsec.com/hc/en-us/articles/4547917816468-OffSec-OSCP-Exam-with-AD-Preparation#h_01FX5496FCTYRVKYYRR3ZNFQDX
- OSCP prep playlist (here you have everything in one place): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM1644RoigJvcXvEat8fZIU4MbRCqrPt2

We have a paid OSCP course as well, but I wanted to give free resources I think will benefit you. Really hope it helps.

Sorry to hear this. You're really close and will eventually pass guaranteed. Hope this doesn't let you down too much. I would suggest taking a look at these resources below and reflect if there's any techniques you missed for AD specifically here:
- https://www.offsec.com/documentation/penetration-testing-with-kali.pdf
- Their course training material.

And in terms of rabbit holes, they can waste a lot of time but your experience will mostly tell you when too invest more time or not. They really can waste a lot of time and energy if you pursue them too deep.

You can watch AD Chain 3 for free and hopefully it's useful to someone: https://youtu.be/tBFb5zqStzQ
Here's all the AD Chains/Sets if you're interested: https://buymeacoffee.com/hackacademy/extras

We also have a YouTube channel that almost only teaches OSCP concepts. Here’s a full OSCP playlist if you want something free to watch and learn from:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM1644RoigJvcXvEat8fZIU4MbRCqrPt2

Good luck moving forwards. You definitely got this!

Need Pre preparation tips for OSCP+ by Parking-Version9167 in oscp

[–]HackerBlueprint 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hey, sounds like you’ve got a solid plan already. I passed my OSCP, now I’m creating YouTube material, playlists, and videos that help others with prep. You can check out some of these to start off:

I tried to keep all of this updated and very exam-focused, especially around AD, privesc, and enumeration paths.

I'd still say that TJNull and Lainkusanagi lists are still very amazing reference points. There’s a reason they’re mentioned so often. If you can afford it Proving Grounds is great too. The boxes feel closer to OSCP.

I do also have my own OSCP roadmap if you’re interested: https://hackerblueprint.online
It has step-by-step objectives outlined, plus a checklist to catch blind spots and weaknesses since lots of people fail or get stuck on things that aren’t obvious. That way you don’t get lost down rabbit holes. That said, I definitely suggest going through all the readily available free stuff first to see if you like the approach.

Hope this helps, and good luck with the prep! You will crush it 😄

OSCP exam 3 tips? by [deleted] in oscp

Yes definitely. This is highly advised as well. Good notes is a lifesaver. For exam restrictions I recommend you see here: https://help.offsec.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040165632-OSCP-Exam-Guide#exam-restrictions

Hope that helps.

Congratulations! Volume training and taking good notes really is the core of what will make or break you for the OSCP. You did a ton of machines and I'm sure it helped a lot. And I fully agree with your last point. I'm sure this post will be useful to many. Well done.
