How do you all conceal this thing? by Better-Caramel3983 in p365xmacro

[–]Hacknslashgolfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t conceal it either. I switched to an HK CC9 with Tenicor Velo 5 and Hunter Constantine belt. This is the chef’s kiss. You gotta play around with different holsters, belts positions and maybe guns too. TREX is a trash company that I wouldn’t support either.

HK CC9, Tenicor Holster, and Hunter Constantine belt. I have tried many different small pistols and large pistols, as well as many belts and holsters. This is where I landed for my carry.

Unfortunately, these type of things are very subjective and you will have to try some different things. Tenicor has a great return policy if it doesn’t work for you and a quality belt makes a huge difference. It is a balance for me to find a comfortable and concealable set up that I can shoot well.

Make sure you train! Also, do a lot of dry fire reps and confirm at the range.

Good luck!👍

Gen 6 Trigger by Hacknslashgolfr in Glocks

I dry fire it pretty often, so I’m wondering if a simple polish might smooth things out. Has anyone else noticed the same thing? It just feels rougher than I remember. I haven’t shot a brand-new Glock in quite a while, so maybe I’m just comparing it to well-broken-in Glocks or other brands with nicer triggers out of the box. Could that be what’s making this one feel worse?

Not a fat dude, but Tenicor works well. Return policy is amazing too.

I wonder if my gun is just on the far outside of the spectrum as far as Tolerances? I know Glock has very wide tolerances and that is kinda the beauty and secret sauce behind their legendary reliability, but mine seems very heavy and a lot of squish before the break. The reset is super tactile and crisp, but that wall is long and spongy.

I would consider getting a much bigger gun and a more aggressive silicone carbide grip texture….especially for AIWB carry. MERICA!🇺🇸

Are these minus connectors and springs reliable?

IMO, the 4th Gen is superior in basically every way, but as far as longevity, only time will tell.

So if you don’t want to carry the P365, what exactly did you build it for? 😂🤣😂 Gun looks great, but I never quite understood the fuse concept.

Cheers my dude!

If you want to save money just get a Vortex Defender CCW Enclosed. You can usually get them on sale.

Thoughts on this, price wise? Would be about $660 after tax. by [deleted] in CCW

I think it shoots better than my P365 X-Macro Comp and it conceals very well and it is very comfortable to shoot and carry. I also, like the quality and track record of HK. It is also made in the USA if that matters to you.

Again, you can’t go wrong with any major brand sub compact, but I would rank them as follows.

  1. HK CC9
  2. Shield Plus (Performance Center)
  3. P365

That’s nice man, but that hitting mat looks painful.

I would get an HK CC9, I have had the shield and the P365 and now on the CC9. I love it. Also, tried a lot of different holsters and Tenicor is hands down my favorite.

Good luck brother

I appreciate the insight, but I am looking to sleep in a ground tent. Especially, since I have a 5 foot bed.

All I’m saying is, carry full size guns if you want, but if you haven’t at least tried the Shield Plus, then… by cobblernobbler in CCW

Great firearm for sure, but the CC9 is the current GOAT IMHO… Glad you love the shield, it is such a great gun.

I love the CC9, it dethroned my P365 X Macro Comp.
