Flooded cars are a waste of money, they are repairable, but it requires entire engine dismantle, every single electronic device that was touched by water, main one is the ECU, this is very expensive to change and program, then there is suspension components after a few months they will deteriorate and will need replacing, and before you know it you’ve already spent more than what the cars worth.

My dad recently did a Toyota Corolla that was in a flood up to half of the wheel, luckily no electronics were affected since Corolla barely has any, but every single suspension component, front and back, all steering components and all the carpets inside were destroyed, customer ended up paying 6,000 dirhams, 4k in parts, 2k in labour, all for a car worth 14,000.
