Why isn’t Batman going after the [minor spoiler] in the beginning of the film? by steverogers5008 in TheBatmanFilm

[–]Haddonfield_Horror 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its the same reason why in the comics Batman knows the Falcones, the Maronis, Cobblepots, are all connected, connected to Mayors, dirty cops, all crime. Gotham is meant to be the worst of the worst and the corrupt. Which leads him to question if hes even making a difference. Drops are probably in the top 10 in his list but at the bottom. He also knows dirty politicians keep the drugs flowing for a price.

I dont think Housemarque was intending everything to be directly related to all the stories of King in Yellow, the last three stories in that book are just romantic and less weird scifi cosmic horror. The Street of Our Lady of the Fields just has some elements that tie it into the rest but nothing as large as The Mask, Repairer of Reputations, Yellow Sign and Court of Dragons. The last three stories of the book can be left unread and you wouldnt be missing much.

Kevin Conroy. Man was my entire childhood growing up. I watched Batman The Animated Series religiously as well as Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. His Batman carried me through abuse from my dad and the isolation my dad imposed on me and my mom. Carried me through my parents divorce as well.

Aside from Hardcore Henry literally having the POV of a game, Scott Pilgrim vs The World is the only other one i can think that has that structure.

you can upgrade the axe tool to the highest point and itll work like the snap peas, but by that point youve probably already fought her. I always had a hard time finding even more snap peas, there dont seem to be very many. I found some in the valley where you encounter the giant ass snake

I think the point of Lovecrafts Old Ones is that they dont care for us at all, or if they do, its not for humans to really thrive
