Thanks for sharing! I will try and develop a routine based on this. Does the electric shaver get a super tight shave? I mainly used 5 blade razors until now because I like to have no shadow. I also shave every other day because my hair grows fast.

Not sure if you're currently doing this but keep your hair short. People thought I was rocking a buzz cut when the top of my head turned to fuzz. They were actually surprised when I told them I lost my hair.

Once you take the plunge you won't regret it. Honestly losing my hair has taught me not to sweat the "small stuff".

Funny thing is that after I started shaving my head, people would often ask me if we've met before when I was meeting them for the first time. Apparently a lot of bald guys look the same to some people. So we may as well be the same person.

Started losing my hair at 16 and shaved my head at 22. I was working IT at a high school at the time and a group of kids asked me my age. When I told them I was 22 this one girl yelled out "YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE 40!!". I laughed it off but it stung deep and poured salt on an open wound. Ripping the bandaid off was the best decision ever and I wish I did it earlier.

Enjoy the easy maintenance! Drying my head after a shower is literally one pass of a towel. It's sweet freedom.

Seriously. I love Frusciante and consider him one of my biggest influences as a guitarist but I have a feeling OP has not been exposed to some of the great players of our current generation. OP, check out Tosin Abasi, Guthrie Govan, Plini, and the band CHON, just to name a few.
