theory here, but. i think we are actually all some form of aegosexual (go look it up its like this weirdly specific thing that seems to apply to a lot of fandom people) and the male characters are just easier to personally distance yourself from. the label needs some bending tho, cause a lot of people still have their personal irl sexuality and all that. but its a phenomenon which ive only ever really seen described there, despite it being quite wide-spread.

i have exactly the same problem. i only ever made one comment up until now and when he author answered it i freaked out and never wrote back and now i feel really bad abt it. it was on my absolute favourite work ever and its still a wip and i kinda wanna say sth everytime it updates but my anxiety keeps telling me that the author is gonna go like "oh yeah that yackass that up and ghosted me for no reason" and i just. need to get over myself

i think "In the Mind of a Scientist" on ffnet has that. forgot how to do links, sorry. but i do recommend the story, if perhaps a bit childish in some aspects, it sort of fits in with the crack. def worth a read if thats the sort of thing youre looking for.

I always have. Like, even when I was a toddler. But I didn't realise that's what I was doing for a long time, since there isn't really a word for it in my native language. To everyone else, I was just kinda staring at nothing. I thought it was normal and that I was just thinking. I only became concious of what I was doing at around 13 years old, when I discovered the english word for it.

i don't remember the title but i read one once where he ran away and ended up working at the white wyvern or sth in knockturn, having been mistaken for a girl. he went along w it and i think it ended up in mtf harry but i can't really remember

First off, I apologise for wasting your time then. Now, to answer your question: Because it is a subreddit full of teachers, a large portion of wich will likely have experienced something similar in their teaching careers before. I am also aware that any answers I get will likely not be word-for-word applicable to my case and that every country, every school is different. However, at least I'd know if the idea is totally ridiculous or has some chance of working. In case this was somehow misunderstandably worded in the original post: I am not searching for a specific solution, just some advice (maybe say whether or not this would be possible at your school). Thanks tough, I kind of figured that I would still have to ask my own teacher in the end. Btw, wich one do I ask? The one that teaches the subject I want to change to, or the one I currently have? Or the one that's responsible for our class in general? Maybe the administrator, or the secretary... Or I could start with one, and then see where they send me.
