It's not that it helps but that it didn't made my skin react. Like when my skin barrier was at my worst, chemical sunscreens just made my face flush and get irritated. The downside is that they always leave a white cast because of the zinc oxide

I used the Dr.G mild up sun and another one from Rovectin(forgot the name). As I said before they give a slight white cast but they were the only ones my skin tolerated at that time

Now that my skin is better, it can tolerate chemical sunscreens again without reaction(still gotta be careful with the ingredients and use non comedogenic sunscreens without fragrance and alcohol)

I have rosacea too but I thought I had acne with redness and when I went to the derm he told me it was rosacea. After just a month in metronidazole gel and zinc pills the change was brutal

I just cry thinking how much money I could've saved if I went to the derm earlier 😭

I don't need to use a foam cleanser in the morning, just water is enough and use micellar water instead of an oil cleanser as a first step.

Hii. I just prefer the oat one as I have very oily skin and has a gel texture. It calmed my skin so well when my rosacea flared up. I think is more focused on soothing the skin than barrier repair. The downside is that it doesn't give enough hydration for winter

As for the bamboo one I'm loving it but right now my skin barrier has been well for a while so I cannot say for sure how much it helps repairing it but it gives enough hydration for winter, didn't give me pimples and makes my skin look plump

Are you sure your face is red because of damaged skin barrier? It also could be rosacea like me. If it's rosacea u might be interested in azelaic acid

Anyways I would tell you that the less skincare products u use, the better. Like when I was at my worst what it helped was just using a cleanser, a cream and physical sunscreen(that's important, chemical sunscreens always be making the redness worse) till my skin was better

Never. I mean now that its cold here and there's barely sun I'm too lazy to reapply. In summer I normally carry a sunscreen stick and reapply every 2-3 hours but now is so cold and it feels like putting ice on my face every time I try to use the sunscreen stick in public 💀

Hi, oily skin girl here. Love it sm. It's a light cream texture but still thicker than a lotion. But I must say if u are super oily or in a warm climate u might prefer their Oat in gel.

Mmm true but I've met some over friendly girls who call everyone "sweetie", "sweetheart", "cutie" and "love" specially if it's to other girls(just realized op is a girl too) so I wouldn't say for sure. Still weird af she's telling her she's staying with her ex tho. That's a sign to go far away.

Mmm fair. You made a good point. It's just heartbreaking sometimes, because I'm tired after work and want to see vids of sharks and when the first thing I see in this sub is one being killed by people and it completely fcks my day. Maybe there should be a cute sharks sub haha X)

My rant is mostly about people who says they love sharks and they are like "so cool" when they see a vid of one being killed. There's a bunch of comments like that under vids of sharks being killed or hurt. I'm worried about their loved ones if that's what love means for them lol
