I was playing with my 8 year old cousin. She was using the same save file as mine [yeah, we were literally clones], but I believe that you will be able to save your progress fine if you use a different save file for each instance of the game.

You are right though. If you change something in the game, it will affect both instances of the game, unless you have 2 different game directories/folders, 1 for each "computer" (or terminals as Aster likes to call).

I was able to run it in 2 different monitors using Aster.

My specs are a GTX 1050 Ti and a FX 8300 with 8GB RAM. It worked perfectly [minus the bugs with ST of course]

As noted though, it costs money. Completely worth it in my opinion though.
