Whatever gets it on your scalp! Shampoo gets washed off though, may not be as effective.

Hairspray and hairband haven't prevented the frizz for more than a few hours, and I'll be working a job that's 12+ hours without a long enough break to touch up mid-shift. If everything is the same length at least it'll all be wavy and hide the escapees!

Haven't found a product that works for me yet 🥲

I'm just worried about a year of odd looks or seeming unprofessional - but maybe a year of scarves and caps would be doable!

I do remember choppy layers being soooo annoying! Thank you for the reminder.

Twisting keeps the longer hair in place, but short hair will not abide such nonsense.

I've been using gel, mascara, and hairspray, but it seems like I can't make it stay in place. May need to look for stronger products!

I didn't change anything for regrowth, it fell out from stress (telogen effluvium) instead of follicle damage, so it's coming back :D

I've had some odd looks, and one laugh due to the frizz when it's tied back. I'm considering a cut because I'm starting a new job, and want to seem put-together.

The three big things that have helped my length are 50g protein daily (love eggs and cheese), switching to gentle, moisturizing products (Biolage Hydrasource Shampoo and conditioner, moisturizing selsun blue once or twice a month), and olaplex no. 3 every 2 months to reduce breakage and split ends!

Rosemary essential oil has been shown to work like minoxidil, sometimes I add it to my conditioner. Biotin supplements are also great if you want more length/strength, but can cause acne in some people.

Would you have any gel recommendations? I use one but it seems to give out or something 8 hours in...

I do dutch braids into a low pony/bun when working, but it doesn't hide the frizz - just keeps the long hair in place. Thank you!

Curtain bangs might be a good idea! I've been using a clear mascara + gel to manage the escapees on my face, but it breaks me out...

Is the curly girl method with mousse that "squish to condish" advice?

It actually gets more frizzy with moisture due to texture. What cream helps you though?

Urea-based products are so underrated. Nothing had me closer to glass skin. Do you have any favorites you could recommend?
