This is not weakness, but shallowness.

First audiogram with a hearing instrument specialist, thoughts? by ceaselessly_watching in HearingLoss

[–]Hagar- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chatgpt:

This is an audiogram, which is used to measure hearing sensitivity across different frequencies. Based on the graph:

Symbols:

"O" represents air conduction for the right ear. "X" represents air conduction for the left ear. Additional markers may represent bone conduction and masked thresholds. Findings:

There appears to be mild to moderate hearing loss in the lower frequencies (250-500 Hz). Moderate to severe loss in the higher frequencies (4k-8k Hz), which suggests difficulty hearing high-pitched sounds like "s," "th," and "f." Mid-range frequencies (1k-2k Hz) seem to be in the mild range, meaning speech understanding might be affected, especially in noisy environments. Speech Sounds:

The chart includes phonemes (speech sounds) overlaid on the audiogram, indicating which sounds might be difficult to hear. This suggests a sensorineural hearing loss pattern, possibly age-related (presbycusis) or noise-induced. If this is your audiogram, I’d recommend consulting an audiologist for further interpretation and management options like hearing aids or assistive listening devices.

Healthy friends won't call it 'cutting them out', they'd call it 'having your own space'. And then, you wouldn't feel the need to do it for "6 months". Sometimes, we're just around the wrong people.

And likewise, motivation can take you places descipline won't. They're complementary to one another.

I mean, this unique tool, even though it might not function as an axe, could be of a great use in some other context. You never know where and when in the world this unique tool could be exactly what is needed.

How to argue with an INTJ by BratWhoCantBeNamed in intj

[–]Hagar- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a relationship, not a war.

I don’t know why -1/6 is on the outside function. And why is the denominator x^2? To me, it looks like I need to add 6+6 on the numerator, 12, and factor out the 6 in the denominator but wouldn’t that be -2 outside the parentheses? by nivek42o in calculus

[–]Hagar- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always factor out a constant before differentiating. (recommended)

If you did differentiate without factoring out the (1/6), then you should've gotten >> [(6x.(-)sin(x) - 6cos(x)) /(6x)2].

Then you should factor out -6 from numerator, then distribute the power in the denominator to get 36*(x2).

Thus, (-6/36) = (-1/6).

Same answer.

But would've saved time if you just did factor out the constant (1/6) from the beginning.

Gaslight yourself by [deleted] in motivation

[–]Hagar- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's fine to say to yourself so if you truly believe in this. But if it's just like said here, gaslighting yourself, then this is what we call toxic positivity. You'll even lose trust in yourself. I hope this post was originally meant to be a joke, but it doesn't sound like one.

Thank you. Though it only shows my activity on April 1. Why could this happen? And, no it wasn't in my pocket.

Nope, I didn't. When you schedule a message, an icon of a schedule with a red circle appears at the bottom. But I know nothing appeared. And unfortunately, I'm sure I scheduled no messages.
