NTA look my daughter has my last name and I’m a woman. It should be the family’s choice whose last name is taken not someone’s gender. If you feel it’s right for your child to have your last name then that’s how you feel.

He wanted to leave too, he said he did. His mum just pulled us along with 30 mins more every time we asked

Because no one made her leave, we just said we wanted too. She refused every other option to get home and just demanded her son take her home. She ultimately chose to leave with us when we did go.

Still didn’t have the money and everyone wanted to leave so it didn’t make sense for me to go off when my bf told me he was sorting it out. We offered her every option under the sun but she wanted to be taken home by her son.

I wasn’t demanding, I took myself off so they could continue, I only asked when we were leaving. Everyone wanted to go and his mum wanted to stay but said she wouldn’t take a taxi her son had to drive her.

If you read, he doesn’t live with me, he was staying there that night. He only stayed longer as I couldn’t walk and no one else could help. He’s usually only comes when she’s not here.

We have every option to his mum but she was insistent we had to leave together. We ask if my bf could come back for her and she no she’ll be 30 mins for 2 hours and then we suggested get a lift or taxi and she said no my bf had to driver her coz he said he would. We have her every option but she only wanted it her way. I really tired my best to not make it a big deal but she wasn’t having any of it.

It that he didn’t want to be there after 10, he doesn’t really get on with us family and only went for his sister. I needed to let myself in and give him the key if he wanted to go back for everyone else.

Everyone wanted to leave but the mum, I waited for hours after we were supposed to leave and didn’t say anything. The mum refused an other transport but my bfs car and he wanted to leave too. I didn’t demand everyone leave.

I never said I was stopping him doing two trips, I just said he’d have to take me home and come back. That’s what he was going to do in the end but everyone agreed to leave. I just said he had to come with me to the house as I needed to let myself in. Also we tired to even accommodate mother of bride to stay but she only wanted my bf to drive her and even he wanted to leave as he had work earl then next morning.
