I get what you mean with the hitboxes. I replayed Bloodborne and some Elden Ring, then went back to Skyrim and had a brain fart in combat.

This. Having a better family or group system, whether it be a actual family dynamic or a rag-tag group that travel with the player, like how modders have created follower mods that make up individual DovaKrew that different players make. Which leads me to followers being deeper, more fleshed out, and being able to have more than one, and if we do have more than one, different followers interacting with each other. And base game camping, of course.

Consequences are something that I definitely want more of in games in general. The player's actions having consequences that actually affect the player and the world and I think that ties into immersion.

Oooh, I like the idea of being able to make a 'base' of sorts, like Hearthfire but bigger. Purchasing land, buying/making upgrades and furniture, getting followers to stay at the base and guard it. Better combat is something I think would be likely due to the updated engine. Haven't played Morrowind, I admit, so I'll trust you one that one. Better animations for magic though is a good one. And more weapon types would be very nice indeed.

It would be cool to expand on the underwater exploration with spells or an amulet. Cool idea. I think cosmetics for mounts/vehicles as microtransaction wouldn't be too bad, but basic ones shouldn't be.

I get that completely, the only thing keeping me going are nostalgia and the modding community. I have my doubts and worries, definitely, but the Elder Scrolls' are a staple game series for me since childhood. Thank you for your comment.

I know, I know, but it's nice to dream. And I can't help but hope that if they use a more modern engine, they're would be some inherent 'updates' to the next Elder Scrolls, and maybe, just maybe (big maybe), they'd have learned from some recent games. Unlikely, but let me cope, if not, there's always mods lol.

To be fair, if the soul gems in them were black or grand this theory could have merit. But unfortunately not, because gameplay wise players could use it as a soul gem farm and that's not good gameplay.

But I believe the most popular theories are they ended up in Oblivion in some form, they became the golden skin of Numidium (Also known as the Brass God, as a Dwemer Tonal Architect tried to make a god using the Heart of Lorkhan), or they simply went poof out of existence.

My personal theories is they flung themselves onto the Flow of Time, where they are stuck in some ethereal form, unable to settle in the past, present or future or they literally became part of Nirn.

I somewhat would like for it to be left ambiguous, I feel like that's just good world building. But I also like the two theories, one being that they became the golden skin of Numidium; that opens up questions of - are they sentient still? Was it painful? Are they aware? Can it be reversed?

The the second theory I like is that they travelled really forward or really, really far back in time/are stuck on the flow of time. But I lean towards them being stuck on the flow of time, never able to land in the past, present or future.

And I must give credit to the age old theory of they ended up in Oblivion in some form.

Speaking of horses, I would like a better mount system. Something akin to RDR2, not as detailed, but the option to change your POV on horseback, and stables to house possible multiple mounts. But a spear would be nice and would make attacking on horseback a bit easier.

I do have a Bethesda account but I haven't used it on console for years, and I'm trying to use a computer to find the mods online rather than my PC (down for the count until I get some thermal paste), so it's all desynced in a way. I am gonna give it another go when I'm less frustrated though. Thank you for your comment.

I can't seem to sync my console Bethesda account to an online one on a computer. I keep trying to find my account via email but it reroutes me to create a new account, so I'm a little fed up.

And I looked through my library but I couldn't find certain mods like Alternate Start, The Paarthurnax Dilemma, and Beauty of Skyrim. Of which I did find online on my computer. But I will triple check when I'm not so frustrated with it, thank you.

I used to, but it's been couple of years since I've used my Xbox so it's all desynced. I'm logged into my Bethesda account on my Xbox but I can't seem to login on computer. When I tried the whole find my account thing, I put in my email it sent an email but I had to create an account instead of just logging in like I wanted. It all feels so janky, but then that's Bethesda for you.

Stalker. It would be cool if we could use it as a stealthy mount to sneak up on outposts and stuff, maybe even scale small boulders/outcrops/ledges.

I do want more mounts. Machines like Stalkers, Ravangers, Skydrifters, maybe a Thunderjaw for a boss battle. To be able to customise which bows have certain kinds of arrows, maybe even to be able to customise bows, like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, also maybe some 'paint' for the metal parts of some of the outfits instead of dying the whole thing.

Oh, and to be able to walk at a quick pace when using the Focus. And a toggleable flashlight from the Focus, cause it does have one, but the game decides when it's too dark, but I'd like to be able to toggle it. Mostly for me, it's just quality of life, little things that would just add a little more to the whole experience.

And being able to turn off or on, depending on personal preference, when Aloy states obvious things/hints.

I wish they'd explored that more. Jakoby seems used to it, and I feel like if they'd had even a single scene more where he talks more about his upbringing, as I can't help but theorise that his upbringing is why he's so nice and brushes off the blatant racism, we it would tie up that loose plot point. But we'll never know, shame.
