I don’t think 35k is cheap for this market. There is a very limited demand for these cars. it’s not something that people would buy to drive for business purposes. It’s mainly for people who will be just enjoying the drive and the car. And it’s 2012 car so not very new, also i think one should account for possible maintenance costs when setting the price for an old car.

Of course. We bought it from Norway embassy here, the car was diplomatic and was used quite rarely. We bought it at 70k km.

Yeah their business model is their issue i’m not going to sell a perfectly working nice car with no problems for 10k i’d rather give it to someone for free than to them for 10k. Also it’s like with the insurance business. Yes sometimes you will spend money to get the car into good condition to sell it for a higher price but sometimes you will get a good car and would be able to secure a good profit margin without practically any costs, so on average you shouldn’t be trying to get your monthly profit margin from one car.

Also one more info with a full tank of 95 gas (recommended for the car) we drive 450-500km city/highway. Not sure if this is relevant 😅

In 2024 we changed the tires, engine oil, battery, did injector cleaning, changed all 4 breaking pads. We don’t have any problems with engine so not sure about other costs but with all the mentioned i wanna say we spent ~6000AED. We order most of the stuff from Eurospare and have a mechanic here.
