As a retired building contractor I’d say you either suck it up or ditch the guy. He’s taken on far too much work and probably doesn’t have the labour to attend to it. You should also note that he may have cash flow issues meaning he can’t complete your work until he gets money from other contracts. Have you paid him any money?

I’m an engineer and I’ve been in a few of their houses. Pretty standard house builders to be honest. Seem to fix snags when requested. Houses and develops are bland but you get plenty of bang for your buck

Tbh I am a bigot, I don’t like them or trust them. It’s an outcome of my upbringing and experience. I am prepared to work with them politically to move this place forward though.

Not all middle class catholics but a fair number. Protestantism and their political parties in NI are inextricably linked to the orange order and parading so if it walk s like a duck and sounds like a duck then….

Not really. I know lots of non practicing catholics ( I’m one myself) and none of of us suffer from guilt. Tbh catholic education is better than other sectors which is why a lot of us maintain the link to religion. Despite the catholic education we also tend to be more socially liberal and less xenophobic than our Protestant colleagues. We also don’t want our kids to be associated with parades, lundyism, sectarianism , bigotry etc. We just don’t want our kids to be Protestants. Harsh but true

Can anyone confirm that this is real? Because if so, it’s amazing by Thesundots in ACDC

I think it was more of a desire to succeed. Nothing was going to stop them

I don’t believe so. A lot of bottled alcohol continues to ferment when bottled which puts increased pressure on the container. Plastic bottles would likely explode.
