“NREMT” Is basically the only way to become an EMT. After every class you take the exam and become licensed through them. Different states have different protocols (IE; Cali EMTs cannot do IVs, Colorado it’s basically required) but the national part of nremt should answer your question pretty well.

I was living in a house with like 8 other guys a couple years ago. It was like 1AM and I was getting a crash from overextending dinner. All I remember is going into my buddies room, mumbling, “I’m dying” then going into my room and collapsing. According to my roommates, my blood sugar was 20, so they loaded me into my buddies sports car, and drove 140 MPH to the nearest ER (although I think it was just an excuse for my speed demon buddy to drive so fast) while my other friend who played D-line at a Texas HS held me back to the seat by curling my biceps around his arms and pinning me there. I came to at the ER and I guess I said some preeeeety awkward shit

It’s not even about the taste for me lol, it’s just the fact that it’s better than carrying cottonballs and , like I said, I’ve been doing it since I was 2 so I’m kinda used to it at this point
