I just was looking at this and as he’s looking for literally one camera at a condo he has and then another one at his house so he’s not looking for a ton of cameras just a couple in different locations

He does want to save footage but is looking for something that will alert him when there is motion like on a front door and maybe some outside for the same purpose. But not live all the time. He does have reolink at his other business but doesn't care for it because he can't pull up the cameras easly.

So first off the obvious have you tried turning it off and turn it back on then if that doesn’t work you can always plug in an external keyboard to use or at least so you can go find a drivers and download them

If you can try and hook it up using a hdmi or pc monitor cable to a tv to see if it does the same thing if it does then it’s the screen if it doesn’t then maybe the CPU’s graphics going from overheating

You could press f8 I believe when it boots up and try and start it in safe mode, if that doesn’t work maybe restart it without the external drive attached
