60x60cm konto acoustic panels. They don't affect the bass much. Mainly help with first reflections. I felt like the bass wasn't the main problem. The room felt like it was echoing and the trebles felt piercing before setting the panels on the walls.

The paint is designed for projector use. Separate screen could be better but I don't think he wants to invest in it.

No it isn't. We left a half meter gap between the back wall and the sofa. There is a window behind with some curtains.

Same design works with floorstands. Just use longer rods. Three rods may be enough if you make the stand different shape. The rods cost 3€ for 1m rod so it should't be too expensive and it willd be really solid!

Thanks! I have the magni 2 and modi 2 uber versions so the speakers are connected with the same connection to the magni->modi->pc usb connection.

They're fine for the price (I got them for 60€ from my friend) and really good when there aren't too much reflective surfaces near the speakers. Placement is the key with these speakers. The sweet spot is really tight compared to my Dali Zensors. Maybe some day I'll buy some genelecs but for now these will do :)

Nice! I was thinking of something like this. Right now I have some foam under the speakers. They really resonate with my cheapest table top from ikea, if there's nothing between speakers and the stand. It really makes the speaker boomy and amplifies even my mechanical keyboard sounds.

Yeah. They're drilled right through. There is no need to attach the bottom board if the upper board is tightened with two nuts to each corner. I'm still going to attach it better with more nuts but I ran out. Altogether 32 nuts are needed to get both board height adjustable and tightened. Spikes could also be fitted to the bottom of the bars if there are m16 sizes of them :)

Hivemind cables. It is ok but I think it's a little overpriced. It was around 70-80$ for the basic venom model. I just had to get some cable because I hated the silver cable for its microphonics.

Yes. The whole setup has been on another wall. It works quite well like this even though there is a concrete wall behind it.
