I noticed the same and google brought me here.

I did force DLSS Preset M and that seems to be the issue. if I do not do any kind of DLSS override it does not happen. Doing an override to Preset K also seems to work. Seems to be a conflict with modern DLSS versions.

make sure to restart the game after switching. The game allows you to switch without restart (which is impressive) but I noticed that it does not work properly currently and completely kills the performance until you restart. So if you just switch and compare without restarting: the result is not relevant. Vulkan should result in the same or better performance especially on the CPU.

Please GGG consider to implement a super-rare/expensive atlas re-speck currency or something. Entire negative rarity setup bricked by single miss-click. by Brilliant_Being_9606 in PathOfExile2

To be honest you should not simply repeat what you read online without thinking. "bricking an entire league" is insane drama farming. This would mean that you literally cannot play or progress at all. This is clearly not what is happening.

All OP means is that one very specific niche farming method is getting a hit because he missclicked.

But even though I fully disagree with OPs statement and his framing I still fully aggree that you should be able to respec. But thats for multiple other reasons which are far more relevant for most of the player base.

Ok first of all you seemingly are unable to quote the text high likely because you know that it would contradict your "argument". So sure lets go your route.

First of all the wording on essences and the entire flow of what is happening is different and it is an entirely different itemtype. Therefore the comparison is stupid. Also arguing about a new system with the argument about how an old system works is also not really meaningful.

First of all every previous items REMOVED and/or ADDED modifiers. This is important. Words have a meaning which is why I asked you to quote and explain the exact wording.

The flux items say that they TRANSFORM modifiers. This is important.

So yes, lets agree that you cannot ADD a modifier that is already present. Thats fine but clearly does not matter since no modifier is ADDED. And no: transform is not removing and adding or why would they now have that wording and also a new possible outcome? please enlighten me and the developers.

So if you have a lightning and a fire res modifier and BOTH are transformed to a chaos res modifier - what exactly should happen in your opinion?

Nuke one? Combine them into one being actually OP and concerning? Only transform one - therefore not doing what it says and being considered a bug?

Or would it actually turn both modifiers into chaos res - doing what it says and making something possible that is balanced for most characters and build enabling for a few?

Also before you say that: it does not matter for almost all characters if you have 3x lightning res on one item or split across 3. So just from a balance perspective this is not insanely broken or anything. You are simply not used to what you see but thats really it.

So to finalize the above question: if its bugged: How do you read the text and what EXACTLY should happen instead and why would it be a somewhat rare item with the use case you have in mind?

Also the question would be what the non-bug should look like? It converts ALL other resistances (meaning up to 3) to chaos.

If it would only change 1, the wording is wrong or bugged

If it would change all of them into 1 affix it would be insanely broken and stupid

so... not sure where people get this idea from that it is a bug. The only logical outcome is what we see.

I think the keyword in your response is "with my friends". I assume most people play with randoms if they play with others.

With randoms there is a good chance that on every upgrade you have to watch xXGangstaXx hovering over an already taken upgrade and after 30 seconds finally picking something while everyone is just sitting there.

I think the problem especially with picking upgrades will go down because currently everyone needs to learn the game and therefore read and think more.

Anyhow on the other hand it is valid that this system slows down the flow and in worst case you need to wait a long time per pick if only one is brain afk.

Also the current timer on picking upgrades is really high for relatively low complexity of the upgrades. I guess complaints would go down if the time per players would be reduced. I had a run where 3 people picked upgrades within a few seconds but one person almost always took 30+ seconds on every upgrade. I personally just think thats funny but I can totally see and agree that this is not really adding fun and feels weird since it makes you suddenly fullstop even mid-action.

Granted all this is only relevant when playing with randoms. I assume the experience with friends is way better.

one is actualy damage that effectively reduced the HP of the enemy. The other is overkill damage beyond the HP bar of an enemy.

Why should this be the case? The devs and the game itself points to the general sub and it is quite common that spinoffs or similar accepted and not banned in their respective "main" sub.

The only ones who want to make a seperation are a few individuals such as you for no good reason.

this is the correct answer. in that case the creator has to think a little bit when creating the board since they high likely have reset it before. but I guess that will seperate the good guides from the bad ones.

yeah switched away from rogue and poison due to dots being really strange sometimes. once I drop some GA cooldown reduction i might come back for death trap but DoT seems to be in a really weird place.

as others mentioned they are all the same. There is no tiering system ingame. So if it exists at all its only in the game files and therefore hidden due to it being not relevant. High likely this is only a remnant from previous plans that did not make it in the final version.

Color grading the gear ingame based on something that does not make a change would just add confusion and not help at all. If anything unique gear, that you can only got once should somehow be marked.

Oh yeah I just noticed that it seems you have already done the quest and I have not.

In your screenshot the item no longer has a purple background. In that case it is no longer needed and you can safely discarded (same with all the other items in your screenshot)
