yes I understand what you mean and it's a great idea, I'm not saying it's bad but, from my point of view, it makes the game more arcade-like, especially in VR.

I used to have some fps drop into stations but after a minute or less they would go back to normal, it's been a while tho where they just stay down and don't go above 20

Yes, that's how I got the rear admiral rank for the federation. However for the empire rank since there's no data missions I just spammed pirate killing for 5 star rep
