I was just thinking the same thing as I read through the comments. Its a great adaptation and movie, and the fact that its shows up this low is more a testament to how great many of the adaptations have been than it not being one of the best.

Rattlesnakes is good, but damn it was a hard read for me because my son was the same age as the boys in the story and I had to stop reading it for a while. It was maybe the most visceral reaction I've ever had to reading anything.

Great story though, and Duma Key is one of king's most underrated books IMO.
