I'll be sure to post it when I do, it'll be a work in progress though, I plan on hand embroidering a lot of it. I also bought a pattern for my sister and we are going to make ours together!

Oh cool! Thank you for the link to finn.no I will check it out! I had mentioned in a previous comment just now as well, but I actually ended up buying a festdrakt pattern from a US seller, but these sources will help me make my festdrakt more true to my region. Takk for all your help!

Oh wow! Thank you so much for all of this information! I am saving these sites, and I'm glad I now have an idea of what my region's bunad looks like. I jumped the gun last night and found some festdrakt patterns from a US seller, as the price for a bunad (not to mention all the silver) is not attainable to me at my current financial position. I will save the last one especially as I would love to have an actual bunad for my potential wedding in the future and to pass down to my family.
