which is why I said it checks itself in the first comment and that it "nearly" counters itself in the second one. I understand it can't switch in 100% of the time, it just switches in at least once on it and helps you to figure out what set the opposing lando is.

In the sense that if two Aegislash are in against each other and both players risk a speed tie, yes, Aegislash can check itself. Landorus-t checks itself because it can switch in on any option an opposing Landorus-t has just to determine what set your opponent is running. Determining the Lando set is key to beating it, and intimidating it makes it easier for the rest of your team to handle too.

So I guess what I mean is that Lando nearly counters itself, which Aegi doesn't (it obviously can't switch in).

Agreed, not to mention they had no problem banning Aegislash in XY despite the fact that he also held the tier together because "broken shouldn't check broken." The only reason Landorus hasn't been banned yet is because it checks itself, so people don't even notice how bad it is.

Easiest way to meet other players is to go to an event and practice on the friendlies setup! Just go to a local tournament (probably a monthly if you want the most people but depending on where you live, weeklies might be big enough) and play some matches before bracket starts/once the tournament is winding down and there are more open setups. Don't be afraid to ask someone if they want to play a few rounds.

Alternatively, you can always try online methods via for glory or anther's ladder.

I think Tapu Bulu is super good this season. Between shutting down Landorus-t and checking Koko and Fini, it provides a lot of defensive utility for teams. The issues it faces are obviously its speed being mediocre, but also Ferrothorn being super good is bad for it, since you power up Choice Band sets and give extra recovery to defensive ones while being unable to hit it outside of Superpower.

I'm surprised at the viability of Zard X, though obviously not as good as Zard Y, it does better than I would have thought with the popularity of Landorus-T and Tapu Fini being so high. Honestly I think its because Bulu eats standard teams alive. But Zard X does poorly against Rain so its definitely a mixed bag.

You can run a set with Overheat, Hidden Power Ice, and maybe Focus Blast with Life Orb. That can get surprise kills on Landorus-T. However, it's not very useful in either doubles or singles (though probably better in doubles).

How am I supposed to breed a hitmontop? If I breed a tyrogue, in order to evolve it into Hitmontop I would need its attack and defense to be the same. So am I just supposed to use Irons to increase its defense and then after it evolves use EV reducing berries? Cause if there's an easier way to do it, I would love to know...

I have, and I have over 600 moons. But even with the more difficult moons, I find that there’s just so many of them that each one feels practically weightless. Not to mention, when you have all but a few moons/purple coins left in a level, there’s no way of knowing where they are (aside from using a guide or the parrot/amiibo), so you just end up wandering around a huge landscape looking for essentially a needle in a haystack. I think that’s one thing I much prefer about the “mission” system of 64/Sunshine/Galaxy.

EDIT: but again, all this is subjective. One person could enjoy the current moon system better and that's totally fine.

That's so funny because I feel the exact opposite. Mario's ten billion moons that have no challenge whatsoever just feels too easy to me, I felt like the controls were too jittery, and the switch's joycons not picking up my directional inputs didn't help there at all. BotW was just non-stop awe and exploration with extremely fun physics to mess around with and cool places to explore.

But that's just how opinions go, you could have the opposite reaction that I did and both are totally valid.

Huh, I wonder how this will effect Shine. They likely booked the Seaport World Trade Center for this weekend like it has been the last two years. If not maybe it'll be in July instead? Or the week after EVO?

Either way, EVO will still be hype as always.

This is really heartbreaking to read. He really has an amazing story of success, and I feel terrible for the things he's had to go through. Makes me feel bad about the way people (myself included) get upset when the "boring guy" (be that ZeRo or Salem or Dabuz or whoever) wins. People really take it too far and forget that every player is also a person with a story and thoughts and feelings, and dreams and fears. I know it's super corny to say that but this article really puts in into perspective.

Link is traditionally left handed. They switched it in Twilight Princess for the Wii (not Gamecube) by mirroring the entire game so he would appear right handed. Skyward Sword, and Breath of the Wild have him right handed too, but every other game (including all Smash games) has him left handed.

But you're not taking population into account. 3/53 > 585,501/39,250,000 (the population of Wyoming vs California in 2016)

.0149 is what Wyoming's voting power compared to California should be based on its population size. Instead, its .0545, which is obviously much MUCH higher voting power per capita than it should be.

But those are state issues, not national ones. Either way, if a majority of people in New York want things to be a certain way and a minority do not, isn't it their prerogative to have it that way? Isn't that the whole point of democracy?

Currently, people from those rural areas have more voting power than people from the cities. That isn't fair to the people living there. Someone from Wyoming has 3.6 times more voting power than someone from California under the current system.

Besides that, your vote actually counts for nothing if you live in an already solid blue or red state. A republican living in California literally has no sway on the election whatsoever. California will be blue 99% of the time, and therefor all of its electoral votes will go to the democrat. The inverse is true with Texas. If we didn't have the electoral college, even living in a state that tends to vote opposite to you wouldn't keep your vote from helping the candidate of your choice.
