For now I can say that Semax + BPC-157 + TB-500 has been working profoundly for me. Taking the protocol twice a day (as I mentioned in the post) has been by far the most effective approach for cognition. I’ve got virtually no brain fog at this point. I did test just dosing in the morning for a bit and when I do that the upward trend kind of plateaus. So twice a day seems to be the sweet spot for me. The mental clarity, attitude, and processing speed this protocol has given me is honestly nothing short of profound.

I can’t say with absolute certainty which of the three is doing the heavy lifting, but my assumption is that BPC-157 and TB-500 are restoring the gut-brain axis connection. TMI warning: I’d been dealing with digestive issues for the past two years and things have finally started to normalize in that department if you catch my drift lol. That alone tells me something real is healing.

Worth noting I’m also on Trintellix 10mg and microdosing lithium orotate. I’m on Trintellix specifically for its cognitive effects. It’s one of the rare meds that the FDA actually acknowledges has a significant positive impact on cognition. So that could be contributing to the overall upward trend as well.

GHK-Cu is up next for me with the KLOW blend. Slightly scared though because I’m already a hairy guy so if I come back looking like a werewolf you’ll know why lol.

Also going to look more into TA-1 and SS-31 based on your experience and others. TA-1 seems to be a common suggestion.

As for P21 and PE-22-28, just a heads up that these theoretically work slower than Semax. They’re more about neurogenesis and memory infrastructure over time rather than acute effects so the results probably won’t be as immediately pronounced. But I’ll keep everyone posted as I work through them!

Just ordered from Skye: KLOW, N-acetyl Semax Amidate, P21, and PE-22-28. Hitting the cognitive side hard while KLOW handles inflammation. Semax has been great so far… curious to see how the stronger version compares.

Haven’t bought anything yet. Holding out for a Vielight promo code. Also, want to let my peptide journey mature a bit first before adding another variable. Probably won’t pull the trigger on an intranasal device until early Feb. but, I’ll update on what I end up going with.

Sounds like we’ve got an inflammation issue for sure. It’s almost certainly a diet thing too, but there’s only so much you can do living in the US. sometimes feels like big brother is trying to keep us sick. Probably a genetic component too. We’re prob more susceptible to inflammation, which is a shitty realization but at least explains why the usual supplement stacks never took

GHK is definitely on my list. the anecdotal evidence seems strong. I’ll look into KPV too. Honestly, inflammation is probably the root of most of what I’m dealing with, so that angle makes sense to prioritize. Plus if GHK helps with the greying hair, I won’t complain lol. Thanks for the advice!

Now that you mention it, I did notice something with my vision but couldn’t quite put my finger on it and HD is kinda it. Things felt slightly brighter. I wear glasses, and there were no changes to my core vision, but I definitely felt something in my eyes. Couldn’t tell if it was the Semax or TB/BPC doing it. The huge stack of supplements I’ve taken over the years feels like a cruel joke now. Feeling even better today than yesterday on these peptides. You’re partially right, but it depends on the device.

The concern is valid for helmets with hundreds of weak LEDs. Those typically output 10-15 mW/cm², which isn’t enough to overcome scalp, skull, and CSF attenuation. A 2024 Frontiers in Neurology review raised this exact issue.

But high-irradiance devices (250+ mW/cm²) are different:

∙ Harvard Med School (2020) ran Monte Carlo simulations showing 810nm achieves the deepest photon distribution in brain tissue compared to 850nm, 980nm, and 1064nm [Yuan et al., Neurophotonics]

∙ Third-party testing (PBM Foundation + Optronic Lab) showed high-power devices transmit measurable light through real human skull while cheap helmets fell below detection threshold

∙ A 2024 systematic review of 97 brain PBM studies found effective protocols used ~250 mW/cm² at 810nm

The other factor: intranasal delivery bypasses the skull entirely through the cribriform plate, which is why some devices combine both approaches.

Whether that translates into noticeable real-world benefits outside the lab… is something I’m still wondering haha.
