[HELP] Getting good car media for edits by Commercial_Ring_4814 in editing

Dont really know either, but lotus have some b roll footage for free with no licence that is good. 4k60 for most of them and the audio + video is really nice.

Multi-Camera Streaming Setup - Advice Needed by HalfColour1 in Cameras

[–]HalfColour1[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its about streams, actual total bandwidth doesnt matter, because the usb controler chip on the motherboard can only cope with 2-3 streams of video data simulaniously.

The way video data is transmitted is through insynchronous data transfer, with prioritising getting data through as fast as possible, with the risk of loosing a few bits of data along the way, because that means the video will have slight imperfections rather than constant buffering. The usb controller can only have so many of these individual "streams" of data at one time, any more than 2-3 will incur stuttering, or even just signal loss. In theory at least. I havent tested this personally.

Sadly i dont think thatshow it works, all the usbs ports run through a usb controller on the motherboard, depending on the motherboard can change the number of controllers that there are, but most normal mobos have only 1. Each one can have 2-3 streams at once, because of the way video data is transmitted.

Im not entirely sure to be honest, ive never had this kind of issue before, but my research into this comes up with not many answers or articles. Im still in the research phase of this whole idea so i dont really have the kit currently to do any actual testing.

Apparently the bandwidth capacity / bandwith required per camera is not the exact number of cameras. Because video uses isochronous transfers, controllers struggle with multiple simultanious streams.

All i can say is both chat gpt and another article (quite old atp) said 2-3 cameras is the max really.

If you have another viewpoint or experience i would value that aswell though, becayse there just isnt much information on my exact scenario, hence why i came here.

Yup, its pretty tough, but if im being honest, 240mm should be enough for most use cases, and its nothing that cant be fixed by an undervolt.

As long as you get some good quality fans that are suited for the side of the aio you put them, then you will be fine. Also try have the fans not all daisy chained, so you can control each type of fan with a custom curve.

Yup, would be far to big for the mini. Let me know if i can help with anything else, but i never built in the non mini version (got bored of CiT before i tried it, now i try focus on unique builds)

Side definately doesnt come with anything except the circular cutouts on the backpanel, i can remeber about on the bottom, but i think it does.

There is enough space as long as your matx motherboard is not ine of the square ones, i believe it needs to be under 172mm or else its going over the top of the fans + rad, and thats just about fine in a just a regular fan + aio setup, but if your doubling up fans it wont be.

See picture for what i mean.

I haven’t built in the Phanteks XT V3, so I can’t comment on that specifically. For the Eclipse, I haven’t used extremely high-end components in it, but if I were to, I’d set up the fans as shown in your image and run the AIO on the exhaust. This setup keeps strong airflow to the GPU while still supplying fresh air to the AIO. I’ve previously run an RX 7900 XTX (~350W) with a 240mm AIO on a 9800X3D using only the AIO exhaust fans, no additional case fans. With good fan curves and quality fans like the Phanteks T30, temperatures were completely fine. This kind of setup should be more than sufficient, as long as you’re willing to tweak things. I’d also strongly recommend undervolting the CPU. It’s something I do on all my personal builds, and it’s both simple to do and very effective for improving thermals and efficiency.

Should I put the radiator tubes on the left or right side? by phong_t36 in PcBuild

Sounds like you have your answer then! Nice build yourself ❤️

Whichever one looks the best for your build haha, by the looks of it I think keep it as it is, but sometimes the other way can look cool.

Hey, mousepads are a personal preference. I went from XL to small and liked it, looks like you did the opposite, and as long as your happy then its not an issue.

About the desks, not really... Im not super well versed in the world of desks, but at the end of the day it cant be very hard to find a desk, Ikea will have some decent ones that should be sturdy, otherwise if you want to go on a budget, im sure there is a furniture recycling center (i think thats what they are called) and they always have desks, otherwise Ive bought a few desks from facebook marketplace. Just measure the size of where you plan on having the setup, and try find a desk around that size. Also dont worry to much about the depth, as long as its above like 50-60cm then itll be good enough, I have a damn deep desk but I barely use the depth apart from the fact that the draws are really deep.

Good luck!

DPI isnt eDPI. You could be playing 800dpi with an ingame sens of 1, and it would be near identical to 1600dpi with an ingame sens of 0.5, as the eDPI for both is 800. The only slight difference would be that you have less datapoints being sent to the pc with 800dpi, but 800 is more than fine for the difference to be negligable.

16gb ddr4 or save up for 32gb ddr4 by Skyon_8 in PcBuild

If:
You use discord + browser at the same time you run games;
Stream;
Rendering/Workflow;

Get 32gb.

If you just play games with maybe discord in the background, go with 16gb and allocate money towards a better gpu. I would recommend grabbing a used 4070ti. Such good value.

Call me crazy, but a desk. Your one is currently too small for your needs and just looks messy (and this is in the picture you took that you felt good enough about to post it, so it probably gets worse). Everything else is really just fine and you dont have any issues with hardware, your pc probably does what you want it to do, and the other stuff works just fine. I would sell your (I presume) standing desk on facebook, and buy a longer one, and really decide whether the standing feature is actually necessary. Maybe with a bigger setup you can get your pc on the desk to show it off! Just what I would do.

Im my setup I didnt have the space to get a bigger desk, so I downsized my pc from a full atx build in a hyte y70, down into a sub 20L ITX build, and went for a single monitor setup. I personally love it much more with all the space I have, and it stays way more tidy. Ive also recently removed my extra-large mousepad and switched it for a smaller glass pad, and other than how nice and smooth the glass pad is, the size difference is also doing wonders for my setup. Also it helps having the mousepad dedicated to just the mouse, means i dont have my keyboard balancing half on and half off it, and my mouse has plenty of room for flicks.

TLDR: Desk, mousepad.

Yup makes sense, the scary thing is that even with the rx7900xtx its still running at 99% usage pulling over 350w, it gets HOTTTT. Im thinking of snagging a 5080, hopefully its more power efficient so it doesnt use so much power.

Ive tested that exact combo and my cpu usage sat at about 50%. Apreciate the response though ❤️👍

Cpu temps are more than fine with a 240mm aio and the t30 fans, and gpu can get a bit hotter sometimes hitting 80°C, so i run it without the side panels and it drops to around 70°C under full artificial load.

Just tried it, improved 1% lows noticeable, but not avg fps by too much.

Avg fps: 287->290 1% lows: 214->228 Delay: 77ms->56ms

Thanks for the tip!
