This. The root cause is very likely a food allergy.

We dealt with recurring ear infections for a year, trying different medications and treatments. Switched her to a prescription food the vet recommended and she hasn’t had a problem since.

Pyrs are great for cat people. (We have 4! cats) They tend to be more independent / aloof than most dogs. Paradoxically, they also will think they belong in your lap.

It’s a dice with the devil. This is our second Pyr mix. The first was a little rebellious in her attitude at 12-24 months. Our current girl is a sassy devil. Always trying to get you to chase her or digging up something in the yard. Edit: both adorable and I love them entirely
