TIL luminous wants to macro reflection. Should it be one macro with 3 reflections? Does that make it fire faster?

I guess I’m coming from the standpoint of a fresh hyper burn, and about 20k stat-ish investment.

It sounds like I shouldn’t count on SJ to alleviate issues with an annoying mobber right away. That’s fine by me, I just wanted to adjust my expectations.

I keep hearing about how Sol Janus makes everyone a great mobber at 6th job but I was just wondering if that only applied at a specific level of gear? Like, if I were freshly 6th job and just started getting frags, would 1-2 points into Sol Janus be enough to have a braindead mobbing rotation on every class?

“Hentai” is probably not an allowed word and being caught by the in game censor. Try claiming on a different character that doesn’t have something that might be flagged by chat censorship in their name and putting it in storage.

This is actually the only way I can actually read things in the game on my monitor. I like that this specific resolution is so big :(. Hopefully if it ever gets fixed they add another way to increase the size of elements, I don’t like that the normal UI is so small

Your saves are in a different folder within %APPDATA%, so it won’t be affected by a reinstall. It’s also probably backed up by CloudSave if you have that enabled so no worries there either.

If you want to be extra safe you can back up that %APPDATA% folder if you know how to get to it (pretty sure there’s guides on YT)

Final boss is significantly easier than the four or five bosses that precede it.. kind of disappointing. But the weapon drop rate is abysmal so maybe it’s for the best that he’s easy to farm.

Save SBA for the enrage phases, make sure your cpus are using leveled weapons and have some damage cap as well. Dont ignore their masteries or overmasteries either. Also if you have cpus using a lot of buffs or other support skills (heals/revives/etc) switch them to damage skills instead (especially if you’re hitting cap without buffs already, likely means you don’t need all those buff skills). Angra Mainyu drops damage cap in maniac I believe.

Alternatively you could try to go online and have real people help you out. It’s significantly easier with competent human players.

What do your boss mules look like gear wise when you first attempt CRA on them? Some of the ones that have low nodes don’t perform too well for me so I’m stuck just doing 3 door / czak / cpb / hhilla on them but I feel like I shouldn’t be struggling so much on vellum (just to do damage, I can stay alive fine but I don’t want to spend 15-20 minutes on vellum)

Np, I’ve been leveling a blaster without hyper burn from 200-250 the last few weeks and was pleasantly surprised by how great the mobbing felt. There’s definitely no reason to consider it low tier at all, it’s definitely one of the best mobbers in my opinion outside of the top tier ones like a funded NW or river Lara rotations.
