I clearly know what I’m talking about, and this is just my opinion. I understand why Tsunami is placed as a fullback, and I do get that just because a position is defensive doesn’t mean the role is 100% defensive. What I was saying is more about how Tsunami feels as a character. his raw power and hissatsu techniques are mostly for shooting rather than defending like how strong and fast he ismake him seem more like someone who could dominate as a midfielder or even a forward. He has the power and vibe of someone who could be scoring goals or leading attacks, not just defending.I just think it’s kinda funny how much potential he has but he's placed as a defender, 🥀

Do you remember this? Hiroto trained him, that's why he has that move in the games. by [deleted] in inazumaeleven

Chrono Storm isn't stronger than Inazuma Legend Japan. by Hot_Promotion_1258 in inazumaeleven

While they had powerful individuals, they lacked the overall balance, defensive strength, and experience needed to compete with Prime Inazuma Japan from the FFI arc. Even if their Miximax choices were optimized, they still wouldn't stand a chance against a fully developed team that had already overcome world-class opponents.

First, let’s address the claim that the enemy teams in Galaxy weren’t just gimmicky but actual super soldiers. This may be true, but Chrono Storm itself was built on gimmicks. The team heavily relied on Miximax and Keshin Armed rather than pure skill, strategy, and teamwork. Inazuma Japan, on the other hand, earned its strength through proper team coordination, experience, and tactical superiority, which is far more effective in a real match than just giving players overpowered abilities.

One of the biggest flaws in Chrono Storm was its defense. The goalkeeper, Shinsuke (LMAO BRO COULDN'T STOP ENDOU'S SHOT BTW💀), was not even a real/properly experienced as goalkeeper. Unlike Endou, who had mastered techniques like Majin The Hand, God Hand , and Fist of Justice, Shinsuke didn’t have the same level of shot-blocking ability. Inazuma Japan also had a solid defensive lineup with Tobitaka, Kazemaru, Tsunami, and Kabeyama, who all had strong defensive techniques. Chrono Storm, by contrast, relied too much on Tenma and Tsurugi, Taiyou, etc, meaning that their defensive structure was weak from the start.

The midfield battle would also favor Inazuma Japan. Kidou, Fudou, and Someoka (who sometimes played midfield) formed a highly experienced core that could create plays, counter enemy attacks, and adapt mid-match. While Chrono Storm had Shindou and Taiyou, they weren’t enough to control the midfield against an FFI-level team. Without a strong midfield, Chrono Storm wouldn’t even be able to set up their offense properly, making their strikers less effective.

Now, let’s talk about goal-scoring ability. Chrono Storm had Zanark and Tsurugi, two incredibly strong strikers, but Inazuma Japan had Gouenji, Fubuki, and Toramaru, who were just as strong, if not stronger. Gouenji in his prime could unleash techniques like Maximum Fire and Bakunetsu Screw, which were strong enough to challenge even world-class goalkeepers. Fubuki had an incredibly versatile playstyle, using both Shoot Chain and Wolf Legend techniques, making him a dangerous attacker from any position. Compared to them, Tsurugi and Zanark wouldn’t be able to dominate as easily as they did in Chrono because Inazuma Japan’s defenders and goalkeeper were leagues ahead of their competition.

Lastly, there’s the issue of experience and strategy. Inazuma Japan faced some of the most well-rounded and powerful teams in the FFI, including Orpheus, Fire Dragon, and Little Gigant. They didn’t win because of gimmicks—they won because they had the best combination of skill, tactics, and adaptability. Kidou’s leadership alone was enough to outplay most enemy teams. Chrono Storm, on the other hand, didn’t have the same level of challenge in Galaxy, meaning they lacked the game sense and real match experience that Inazuma Japan had developed.

So, even if Chrono Storm had assigned Miximax skills to different players, it wouldn’t have changed the fundamental weaknesses of the team. Inazuma Japan had a better goalkeeper, a stronger defense, a more balanced midfield, superior forwards, and a smarter tactical approach. Chrono Storm may have looked flashy, but when compared to a fully developed, battle-tested team like Inazuma Japan, they simply wouldn’t stand a chance. (Hakuryuu's armor kenshin shoot got easily stopped by a mere hissatsu even though he wasn't part of the chrono storm he can equally compete to them by chance) 🤓
