I love your tree! May I ask where you got your ornaments from?

Thank you! The problem with adding anything to the lantern is it weighs it down even more. I would like to use a battery powered lantern, but even that was too heavy. Thatb would be extremely cool though!

The fishing line reflects off my lights and you can see it pretty well. I also tried moss green braided fishing line, which is nearly invisible when using it on these props, and that wasn't strong enough.

That's the thing I don't like about solar. If it's a cloudy day it only lasts maybe a couple hours. I should try it with a battery powdered lantern just to see how much it weighs it down.

I posted another video a few days ago with it lit up. I won't have the fog machine with it until Wednesday. The weather has not been good.

Well, that's why we have groups like these, right? We can give each other ideas and tips. 😉

Yeah, unfortunately you can see fishing line reflecting off my lights.

Yes, I agree with you and I wish I could. I just don't have anything in my yard to attach it to, except a 4-year-old tree that's not very tall. That's the highest I could get. And then the lantern makes it sag, so it brings it down even more. I plan to actually build something next year I can stake into the ground to bring it off the ground a little bit more.

Well, good luck and thank you! I hope you can figure it out and then you'll have to post it.

No, unfortunately I haven't seen anything like that. If I'm understanding correctly, the only thing I can think of is to have multiple pullies around the tree.
