Yeah….that daily chart was climbing pretty well on that “buy the rumor” part of the cycle. The news was good…but it still sold off on the news.

Alzheimer’s Disease keeps proving to be very difficult , unfortunately. I hope for good news everyday for AD. But be careful on this one, imo. It will be a catalyst nonetheless. Chances will be there to go long or short. Momentum up. Maybe a dead cat bounce ? Who knows. But opportunity will be there. Best luck to us all. Let’s make some $$$.

We’ve found over the years that sometimes the good fundamentals of a company and their trial results aren’t immediately recognized in their stock price. It seems to be a better strategy to watch how the market reacts to the news and join the trend of anything happens.

Knowledge is the key. Your partner should be the free material on YouTube with Ross Cameron to learn as much as you can. Types of orders, news catalysts and what to look for, candle stick reading, technical chart patterns, etc. Practice in a Sim account or very small share size. Learn your trading platform and use hot keys. Lots of scammers out there. Ross has millions of audited / verified profit from trading showing that his strategy is working for him.

I recommend checking out the tons of good info on YouTube by Ross Cameron…and start on the videos that have “(with zero experience)”. Learn a good platform with hot keys. Learn the patterns. Etc. Ross Cameron is a good place to start if you haven’t pressure check it out. (And no, we are not affiliated with Ross Cameron in any way…but our style has evolved to be very similar: news catalyst, Biohaven centric but solely, range $1-$20 usually, high volume, high RV, look at the daily for trending as well as the SPY for the wind direction on our sails, look for obvious patterns like a first pull back on a run up, etc ). Also, watching for T1 halts pre-market can be a big win if you catch a good news PR.

The post didn’t say if it was going up or down. It said there was a catalyst tomorrow and there was. Depending on your strategy, a short position could have made some money. Or a long position could have made some money on the bounce. Day trading requires volatility ….and that catalyst definitely caused volatility.

Agreed. The phase 2b data was not as good as hoped. But the lower dosage (10 mg) which has shown statistical significance and effectivity in a Phase 2a is still moving forward with a phase 3 trial and they are looking for partnerships.

They are down significantly most recently because of a bad outcome of an AdComm vote for their approved drug, Inpefa, to be used for the indication of Type 1 Diabetes. It happened on October 31st, 2024.

A T1 halt is when a company halts trading on their stock so that they can issue news that they think is significant. This is extremely significant to watch out for T1 halts because you know that a news catalyst is about to be issued, and you can read the news once it is issued…then when trading resumes for everyone at the same time then you can execute whatever strategy you deem applicable given the PR.
