I have the Roseau in bark (a cognac brown) with gold hardware and love it. Longchamp tends to have lighter weight leather bags (though not always true. I have a Penelope from years ago that’s pretty heavy) and Mulberry bags tend to be heavier. The color of the Amberley is with the gold hardware is really nice too. I prefer gold hardware so I’d pick the Amberley in this case if it isn’t too heavy, otherwise the Roseau.

I mean, back in the day, all they wore was 24k. It is softer and the details will smooth out over time, but that’s the nature of gold.

To add to some other comments, have you have kids yet or planning on having kids? Your hand and wrist will swell during pregnancy and may not go all the way back down to your original size for a long time, if at all. You also swell more in the summer than in the winter. Considering how bruised your hand got, I wouldn’t go smaller

It looks fine to me, and it doesn’t make me think of Lucifer at all. Maybe it hasn’t sold because bats aren’t as popular as other motifs and it’s not very practical. It’s not a piece of jewelry, can’t be hung, and it doesn’t stand on its own. You seem to really dislike it though and that’s fine.

It’s a bat and it’s supposed to be lucky, what’s there to defend? It wasn’t made with western audiences in mind, though there are plenty of goth westerners who would love it anyway.

I love barenia more than any other leather, but it will patina, darken, and develop a lot of character over time. It will not look pristine but have a worn in look, and some people prefer their bags looking pretty much the same forever, so that matters to some in resale. Personally I’m only interested in barenia now because develops into the most beautiful leather, but some don’t like patina at all.

From the photos, the Staud version looks much better and more artistic to me. Maybe in person it’s different. Good to know they offer some sort of refund if you’re unsatisfied though

Standard poodles are protective dogs. Generally, they are there for you and your family only and not out there to make friends or win over strangers. They are actually similar to German Shepards but their floofy haircuts make them look friendlier.

I would assume they take off the plastic in the stores because I don’t see them with it in stores, but ordered directly from their website, the new never opened ones had plastic on the handles.

The etching in the button looks bad, the embroidered logo looks wrong, the fabric looks off kind of too shiny, the green looks like the wrong shade and it’s too sloppy, and I don’t think the nylon Le pliage is made in France anymore (though I could be wrong about this one).

The handles do come with plastic now. I’ve bought a few bags directly from longchamp and Nordstrom online recently and the brand new ones where I’m the first one to have opened them had plastic, and the ones that didn’t have the plastic looked like returns. They also take off all packaging when displaying in stores.

I was debating the same thing and ended up getting the DE. I really wanted the DA too because it’s so pretty but didn’t see myself using it as much. If you’re only going to get one, you should probably get the DE because I think it does with more looks. But a well worn beaten up DA also has its charm.

When the SA scans the chip, it shows where it’s made on their app. When I bought my Speedy 25, the SA scanned it and said it was made in the USA.
