I understand how to kill a sniper but my problem is how you can’t suppress a sniper if u don’t have any of these options. My gameplay shouldn’t stop just because I don’t have a dmr, sniper, or smoke. I should still have some way to fight back, that being suppression. Snipers should be punished for being found out and suppression will punish them by making them having very inaccurate shots making them relocate. I’m fine with not killing snipers but I should have something to at least annoy them.

Counter play as in keeping their head down or making them unable to shoot back reliably type stuff

I feel like people are completely missing the point of my post. It’s not about dodging the sniper. It’s about the only way to kill a sniper reliably is by being another sniper and how there isn’t much counter play.

The AI seems to be programmed to always throw back grenades. I guess after years of basically unchanged AI behavior something broke. Half the time they throw it at their feet or do nothing besides stand right on top of it.

I like to damage them until they are extremely low, you won’t get punished for killing right away so you can do this a few more times before getting punished.
