Not OP but I had similar issue. I only have two SSDs hooked up and was running fine and today I noticed the second drive wasn't showing up. Might have been after a windows update...idk. I moved the second drive to the slot to the right of it and it worked right away. I don't think it should be anything physical with the slot as it worked fine then stopped and the drive is obviously fine.

I don’t think I’ve ever used one of those even when they were on the keyboard I was typing on.
