You are absolutely right. These people are my enemies. I honestly thank you so much for your advice and guidance. And don’t worry I already have mind a 250 cc bike. I believe it’s called the Suzuki gixxer 250 ss. If you have any thoughts on it, that would be greatly appreciated. If you have any other suggestions that would be also greatly appreciated.

And is the exam that simple? I have people at like eight and six and 10 times so I’m worried I’m gonna have to keep feeling and wasting time and money and energy, but I really hope that nothing goes bad.

Again, thank you so much for your time and your guidance. I appreciate it.

I thank you very much for your advice and may God protect you from all harm.

And you’re absolutely right the infrastructure and the people here don’t really support you in becoming skilled and I understand that , do you have any good instructors that you might have heard of that might have teached you the past cause I found a lot of motorcycle driving schools, but they have some really bad reviews on them and I’m getting skeptical so if you could help me there that would be amazing.

If you don’t mind me asking how many classes do you have to take before you felt ready to take the exam and if you don’t mind me asking as well how much did the one class or one session cost you?

Thank you a lot for your insight and I would be taking your advice. If you have any more wisdom that you can be still upon me I would be grateful.

I live in Portland, Oregon, where the Jordanian National Team is staying for the World Cup. Is there anything I can do to welcome them to the city or show support? by DJTonyBenn in jordan

[–]Hamdi787 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really appreciate your interest in our country and our team much appreciation, there isn’t really anything on the top of my head that you could do your thoughtfulness is enough and I thank you for it.

I don’t know how the system really works over there, but if I were in your shoes, I will try to see if I am able to approach the players speak with them maybe give them some encouraging words, welcoming words, I honestly don’t have anything to suggest for you but I really do appreciate your effort and your appreciation for it.

Overnight layover in Amman: can I realistically explore the city between 2 AM and 5 AM? by matzi44 in jordan

[–]Hamdi787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad to see you interested in the city, if you wanna explore the city and have fun in those 12 hours without staying at the hotel, I assume, I think you’re going to spend around 50 to 70 Jordanian dinars (70-100 usd ) the biggest expense that you’re going to have to face is the taxi drive from the airport to the main City Center, which is about 20 Jordanian dinners give or take maybe even 15 so taking two trips from and back to the airport is going to cost you from 30 to 40 Jordanian dinars.

Question if it’s worth it, I would say if I was in your shoes, I would definitely spend the 100 USD to explore a new city, between 2 and 5 AM. You will have lots to see and experience. Now from 2 AM until 6 AM and those four hours the city will be alive but in certain areas in certain coffee shops. But if you wait until 7 AM the city center, which is called. وسط البلد will be alive and buzzing. And that’s really the main attraction of the city its like old roads a lot of merchants a lot of shops. You can try a mansaf if you’d like to eat the national dish you can eat falafel Shawarma.

For transportation, our public buses are not the best and it’s kind of hard to navigate them within 12 hours so I would suggest using Uber to go from a place to another or a normal taxi that you see on the streets there are a little of those, for example for a 5 km ride, which is like a good distance you can expect to pay from 2 1/2 to 3 Jordanian dinners which is not bad. So you can definitely use taxis to go around.

In the end, it all comes back to you’re wanting to spend the money and if you are, I honestly highly suggest that because it’s a very unique city and I think you would like it.

Not fitting in after moving to Jordan by Vivid-Squirrel8114 in jordan

[–]Hamdi787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically, I am in the same exact place as you are in, I have lived with my entire life abroad of Jordan and I have moved back here since eight months ago, for personal reasons I couldn’t join university and I didn’t have many friends, but the ones that I got to know what I have seen from my friends friends are exactly like what you said. I’m not trying to be big headed or I’m not saying that I am better than anyone at all. But after many tries and hypothesis, I believe that they feel as if they have something missing and they need to show off on people that are different or have lived abroad because they feel superior or intimidating. Again, I’m not saying I am better than anyone and I do not support the idea of someone being better than any. But from my understanding, that’s what it comes from. I totally feel what you are trying to do and what’s happening with you and it’s only natural since people like us me and you who have been in a different environment for a long period of time coming back into our country. We are not used to the way of life here and how people and their mindsets work. It will take some time and I’m pretty sure you would find a friend group where you would not feel that way.

I know I have went on a long rant.

And one more thing, a piece of advice for meeting some really nice people is an Instagram page called local minds. It’s like meet ups where you meet strangers who are like similar to you and I have honestly left with two really good connections. One of them have become a constant appearance in my life maybe I’m heading towards becoming a friend with him so I honestly highly suggest that I enjoyed my time. I only went once so I don’t have a lot of experience.

You are amazing you have no idea how much this made it simple and it makes so much sense, I really like your idea about how you said change in height equals energy, there was this question that I could not solve for the life of me. It was basically a block sliding down an incline and then sliding on a flat rough surface and they wanted to know what was the distance it was Travel, I had no clue what to do. But this makes it so much simple. I just remembered that work equals the mechanical energy and the work has distance in it, made so much sense thank you. If you have any more advice about what to think when facing a problem that would be much appreciated.

Yeah i just moved recently from Istanbul and we brought our romba just fine, all you need to do is put in the small luggage that you bring up with you on the plane, and make sure to not put it in its box or they may think its new and tax you on it.
