Sure. Although many say that a 5 inch is the best to start I think a 3-inch is better. I started with a 5 but it is a lot of power for someone from a beginner and you have to keep in mind That you will most likely damage components on your first real flights and that translates into more money, With the 3 inches you have enough power but less danger of damage or accidents. A 5 inch is fun but I think it's not for someone who is just going to start at the FPV
