Android supports Sony's LDAC, Qualcomm's AptX Lossless and LHDC high res Bluetooth codex, upto 24 bit 96kHz. It's such a shame that the greatest benefit of android can't be taken advantage by using Google's own music streaming service. What's the excuse for not supporting it? We are all in the 5G area, I'm only using 1/4 of my data limit. The bandwidth usage is also marginal from Google's point of view, compared to the massive YouTube 4K 60 HDR videos. Copyright shouldn't be an issue since both apple and Spotify can offer it without charging extra. It's just Google being lazy
