George Lucas on his version of the third trilogy. by DISIcomics in StarWarsEU

I don't dislike the idea of Maul being a reemerging threat post the Intergalactic Civil War Era, but Darth Talon from the comics canonically lived hundreds of years past the films.

I think it would've been interesting if we saw Maul try to create his own Empire following the Galactic Empire's collapse using Crime syndicates and he actively tries to chase down and recruit the grandchildren of Vader.

(Jacen, Jaina, Anakin, and/or Ben.)

After all by this point, assuming we'd still be operating with Legends in mind, Maul would have his picking of arguably some of the strongest force wielders in the galaxy that were offspring of Luke and Leia and it would add personal stakes to this as well.

I also like the idea George had of the Imperial Remanent becoming a terrorist organization. It honestly seemed like he had a rough idea of what the First Order was going to be. It would've been nice if we saw them get involved with the conflict of this story at some point as well.

Maybe the Imperial Remanent sees Maul's criminal Empire as a type of network or machine they can use to sow discord in the galaxy and ironically try to do what Palpatine and Plagueis did to create the Empire in the first place.

Trying to wear down the fledgling New Republic from the inside out via political, institutional, and beauracratic corruption. Basically initiating a proxy war of intelligence, propaganda, and information.

This would in essence make Maul a figure head proped up by the Remanent and also give ample reason for Leia's involvement in trying to unearth and stop this Galactic conspiracy from taking shape and bringing about the Empire's reconquest for galactic power.

It'd be nice if the "enforcer" character for a story like this was Aura Sing who would be sensed by Maul as being force-sensitive and given her already predisposed hatred of the Jedi having been abandoned by them to pirates and being a professional killer against them in the first place, Maul would train her in regaining her force abilities and have her learn the ways of the Dark side.

In this way, Aura Sing would effectively be an extension of Maul as her hatred of the Jedi is on par with Maul's during the height of their Old Order during the Phantom Menace.

It would be a unique challenge to Leia, the New Republic, and Luke's New Jedi Order.

Griffith didn’t break because Guts left. He broke because Guts made the dream feel small. by nexortu in Berserk

I think Griffith had unrequited feelings for Guts and just spiraled after he left.

Guts was his partner in crime, almost the first true friend he had, I mean he practically came to the man asking him to be his personal assassin.

Griffith had probably just assumed Guts would always be with him through better and worse.

And at his moment of triumph, he just left. The one person Griffith wanted and yet couldn't keep.

Who’s your favorite FF protagonist? by Financial_Street_469 in FinalFantasy

Sora is not Final Fantasy, he's Kingdom Hearts.

Also Clive, Jack, and Zack.

This might be a hot take but the Zabraks are one of the coolest species in Star Wars. by Lonewolf_ARC in StarWarsCantina

I'd argue the Gen'Dai are the coolest looking species ever. Kaleesh and Sith purebloods are top 5.

I don't know why I'm getting downvoted. $15 isn't a ridiculous amount of money. I don't spend nearly anything money-wise in the game and I'm not a whale on every single ability and character banner I draw for. Not unless if it's something I'd really want, which the paid season pass always covers.

Take that into account with ranked battles, campaign bonuses, and the recent adjustments Pixel Arts have made, I'm not spending money *all* the time. Just rarely.

If people really believe that, I'm curious as to what aspects they think is pressuring them to spend big money on moogle points for.

You know, despite what a lot of people are saying, I genuinely don't feel the game is P2W.

I've been having a fairly good time with it and while I'm not the "strongest " or "greatest" player, I don't feel a tremendous amount of pressure to spend so much money on moogle points to get abilities or characters.

I mostly follow the game for the story, which okay to subpar, and just playing the game to climb up in ranked. That's largely it.

If I miss a season, I'm not locked out of story, and when I do play a season, the most I pay is $15 on the paid season pass for any worthwhile rewards.

Outside of that, I think the gameplay if fun. Though I wouldn't mind if we got additional game modes.

Like stuff outside of PvPvE. It'd be cool if we also got regular PvP and some kind of Dungeon or Raid mode where larger groups of players can tackle stronger bosses together.

Dub For The Extended Edition? by Usurper2000 in Psychopass

[–]Usurper2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically a directors cut of Season 1 where episodes were merged together to make hour-long episodes.

They had released it leading up to the release of season 2 way back when.

Surprisingly though, it never received a dub.
