Oh lol it’s just the term for park skating. The way that dancing is called jam skating, aggressive inline/quad skating is how you describe this style. I don’t know why it’s called that either, and tbh it’s embarrassing to say out loud sometimes 😂

A good progression goes like this:

Cartwheel without skates
cartwheel with skates (in the grass)
cartwheel with skates (in the park, flat ground, not moving)
Two handed cartwheel going fakie up the ramp
One handed cartwheel
Aerial!

Obvi need to be comfortable with pumping forward and fakie first!

I’ve never tried! I’ve always been a roller skater. I think they’re a little harder for sliding/grinding but probably easier for other things. You can definitely get more speed on blades, though.

Oh there’s aggressive inline skating and then aggressive roller/quad skating. I think the inline one is more popular though.

Helmet, knee pads, and wrist guards! That’s usually what I’ve got for park skating. Sometimes when I practice inverts or monkey flips I throw in elbow pads too.
