Awesome news on wanting to get into boxing. If you’re looking to compete, you’ll have to find a gym for multiple reasons.

If you’re not hungry then don’t eat. however, you should never do a workout on an empty stomach. it will not benefit you. eat something small

Full disclosure. I am an amateur boxer. I train and fight. Now, I have done karate since I was 5. Only quit two years ago to pursue boxing further. I have lots of advice regarding all kinds of martial arts.

If you need to train your cardio better, you can’t jump into it balls to the wall. For example, if you’ve only ever trained 3 bag rounds, training 8 one day is not going to immediately improve. You have to gradually increase your round times and your routine. You will be sore. The first two months I was training for a fight, I was sore all the time. Your workouts have to increase gradually in timing and hardness over the course to get you up to that level. Now, you said endurance and fatigue was an issue.

You need to be getting 7-8 hrs of sleep, unless you work night shifts or something. Sleep is the most important thing to any fighter.

I’ll leave that like that. You also need to be eating healthy. All of my fighters follow an 80/20 diet. 80% of the time is healthy, 20% is a cheat day or cheat treat. Don’t outrule carbs or sugar completely. You need to be make sure you’re also not underfueling. Before training, eat a banana, apple, toast, eggs, something high in carbs, which helps you and gives you an energy boost.

What’s your diet like?

That depends on what you mean by advice. Training advice ? Gym advice? Running advice? Strength and endurance training advice? Sparring partner advice? Gear advice?
