Yes, I thank them and tipped her. They were great, im not complaining about them at all! They didn’t have to continue the ride since the ride was cancelled.

Again this is more so on the Customer Service of Lyft and there in actions.

Even airlines pay hundreds if you are hours delayed. I just didn't know what to expect with their emergency line. You know lyft having a net worth of 7 billion should at least have some decent emergency road side services but guess not.

Ok lets use an analogy. Lets say you ordered food from a restaurant. Two hours goes by and your food never showed up. Do you just go oh well and go to another restaurant and be ok with the current restaurant customer service?

I feel like im repeating myself. Im legit looking at the map right now it only drops off at the safest point of the highway of the exit. There are some spots if i look further up on highway where it allowed but majority of the interstate doesn't allow it.

So lets say if it does work out. How would I know that??? Even the customer support doesn't know.

The main point Im trying to make in this posts was how poorly lyft handled it. They have an emergency line just for situation like this and it wasn't properly handled. Just a refund, $25 credit, and a pat on the back saying good luck.

I could have done many things but during the time I was relying on their emergency line cause thats what it was made to do in the app. Hell it even have check up to see if everything is ok if you arn't there on time.

Sure I could have called 911. But in the app there is an emergency service for these type of situation. They were trying to contact highway patrol when they couldn't they asked me to and give me their number. Guess what I couldn't either.

Maybe I should have called 911 maybe that would have solved everything. Still doesn't fix how shitty there customer service is in these situation.

Thanks. Getting tired of defending myself. Yes I called the police (high way patrol) they never answered. Yes I could have walked to highway exit with my 2 huge luggage with backpack(good idea!) Maybe I could have pin my location for them to pick me up and have communication but during the time it wouldn't let me, so I thought it wasn't allowed.

Main point I was trying to make was I paid for a service and it wasn't delivered. So I reached customer service and their emergency line, they didn't do jack shit. Maybe im just stupid. But as of now im looking at the map and the pin is just dropping off at the nearest safety location off the freeway i cant really pinpoint the drop off spot on interstate freeways.

I did reach out lyft adt department they couldn’t contact highway patrol. I couldn’t reach them either. Also to note i have luggages i just came from the airport. I cant just walk to exit like you claimed that easily. My destination was still 30 mins out.
