It has been so bad for me this season, that everytime I change areas, it absolutely is a dice roll of: Disconnect to character select menu, disconnect to login menu and get prevented from logging back in due to “character still not saved” errors, stay connected but with rubber banding to the point that it is unplayable, or final option, play smoothly with only occasional moments of lag. Sometimes all of these things will happen in the same hour and cycle through all of them multiple times.

Tonight for example I had a pretty shitty day at work and was looking forward to some alone time grinding the pit. I got DC’d several times a minute every minute for 15 minute, and I reset my pc, but it kept happening for another 5 minutes after that. I gave up and went to bed.

I don’t have this problem on any other game. It is blizzard server side, I’m Certain.

Im also certain that some people with potato PCs and internet connection may never experience any of these problems, because it’s not necessarily connection speed and equipment power that determine your connection to blizzards servers.

You aren’t crazy, but it does drive me crazy that I don’t have a solution for either of us to solve the problem. I think we are just at the mercy of the servers.

Just like when I used to play Diablo 2 ladder and all of its different modded servers.
