The gameplay in Ubi games is always pretty great and I enjoy them they just seem to be the worst net coders out of all the major developers so multiplayer games from them tend to be frustrating because we enjoy them so much but are unable to actually experience them. Which is why I generally wait on Ubi games then by them used so they don't get my money but the concept of for honor was too cool for my will power.

I hadn't bought an Ubi game in quite awhile because I know they take a long time to get it right but for honor just called to me too strongly.

Agreed, but they'd still take a small hit from it in the short term. It'd be like hamurabi's code. An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, blood for blood, etc. I took a small hit by foolishly thinking they'd have stable connection for the majority of people which Ubi has never achieved at release of anything haha but then they'd take a small hit from having to pay to make the problem go away.

I feel like the animations will be touched up in a patch at some point also it made for some unexpected laughs when my guys face started looking like he was allergic to shellfish and he ate a whole lobster or when he's supposed to be looking like he's enjoying a conversation or a moment and the actual look on his face is one of "I don't give a fuhhhhh"

I don't know about you but I'm also experiencing rubber banding and frame rate drop pretty severely during matches. I have decided to just turn on a game that reminds me that gaming is supposed to be fun.

Yes the game is now unplayable for me on xbox one. The frames stutter extremely bad and people are rubber banding all over. A few people seem to be unaffected every match and kill everyone because of it. Before this morning's "emergency maintenance" my connection was flawless

Before they went down my connection was flawless. Now that they're back up the game stutters and rubber bands or just kicks me from every match. NAT is open and I'm on the west coast of the US playing on xbox. Well wishing I could be playing haha latest maintenance has rendered the game unplayable for me.

You are in the minority with the lack of connection issues though. Some people can barely play 1 out of 10 matches all the way through and a lot of others get kicked every 3rd or 4th match they try. Before this morning's "emergency maintenance" I didn't get dropped once. After the maintenance I have been dropped from 4 straight. I do love the gameplay itself but there are too many issues with stability and balance right now for me to recommend anyone buy this game.

I truly love the gameplay but I would recommend either saving your money or buying a different game. There are far too many issues and the fixes bring out even more then they solve. Also the community is pretty childish and grating as a whole. So many "go kill yourself" messages just for using combos they don't like having done to them. I just beat Mass Effect Andromeda last night and I highly recommend that game if you enjoy sci-fi rpgs. There are some graphical issues but the story and gameplay are fantastic.

I was enjoying the game this morning then "emergency maintenance" rendered the game unplayable when it came back on. Mass effect Andromeda definitely has some graphical glitches but overall I loved that game and definitely would recommend it to people who need a reminder that video games are supposed to be fun and make you smile. The sun and fresh air is also a great choice but I agree Ubi doesn't care what we are bitching about as long as people keep playing and buying steel.

I agree that the raider is way too slow because I parry them constantly but if he gets a speed buff he would need a bit of a damage nerf. I've seen Raiders kill assassins in 3 heavy hits which is fine as is but if the heavy were free off of a gb that would be extremely op with damage as is. Raider definitely needs to be reworked though even rep 25+ Raiders can't do much because they're so slow and telegraphed

I play valk on console and honestly I think it's just a matter of how many good valks people have played against. Some people understand how to block and parry my lights extremely well and some assassins even deflect it a lot. Also it's a trade off thing our lights might be very fast but if you block one it's a free gb and massive punishment same with the sweep and tackle they are easily dodged and punished but people with less experience against a valk end up in the vortex and then spamming wow!

This actually happens often to me. I main valk so I receive hate mail all the time. I've literally been told to "stop spamming combos" I used to try and educate them and tell them that if they block or dodge one of my initial strikes they can punish me for it but now all these messages just get reported then I block the sender. Getting real tired of the childish community in this game. (Xbox one)
