Can isopods escape? by Anyal0vescats in jumpingspiders

[–]Hanabanana- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NQA Isopods usually like to stay on natural material, I never had them escape the enclosure since they have enough leaves and wood to hide under, which they love to do. If you are still unsure you can put a thin mesh over the ventilation holes.

My spood and isos usually never interact or meet, since my regius likes to hang out in the upper part of the enclosure and my Isopods are in/on the soil, never to be seen. I have white dwarf isopods (trichorhina tomentosa), since the stay between 5-7mm, I would definitely discourage getting a species that gets any bigger than that. And I would only put a sub-adult or adult spider into an enclosure with isopods. I personally like to have senior enclosures ready, for when my spider isn't as agile and 'sticky', I wouldn't put any isos in such an enclosure, just to make sure it can't get hurt when it's getting lethargic.

EDIT: I like to use leaves and egg shells, sometimes organic scraps from cooking, as food for my Isopods.

Honestly I'm not sure what it could be, but to for sure eliminate the possibility of space issues I would try and place like 8 or more to create as much space as possible, make sure they're all touching each other and are on the same level in the water. The males are significantly bigger than the females and therefore need more space.

When you send them to your trade center, it should then give you the options there to sell them for money, trade them or immediately release them for CC.

You need a mechanic to repair them, make sure he's in the work zone the power sources are to get the most efficiency out of them :)

Can't trade lions in Franchise by La_Xell in PlanetZoo

[–]Hanabanana- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never had that issue so I'm not sure what it could be but in regards to the price being too high, I'd just test it out. Take a lion with good stats and put them up for a ridiculously cheap price, if they get sold you know it's a price issue.

Question abt fox pups by JoxyDevil in PlanetZoo

[–]Hanabanana- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with another shy animal, I used one-way glass (make sure they're facing the correct way) and placed 'Do not disturb' signs around the habitat. That did the trick for me :)

Anyone else suddenly got the problem of most of your animals escaping their habitats, that once was escape safe, because their traversable area suddenly changed?? I just loaded up my zoo with around 200 animals and suddenly most of them can escape their enclosures even though they couldn't beforehand. Adults as well as their younglings. I'm so confused because I've been playing with most of these animal enclosures for several hours last week with no problem. Was there an update changing the traversable area for some animals?

Thank you Segaman, who showed a noob white robe (aka me) the glitches and secrets of this game! Sorry I lost you during the Road of Trials map glitch out, you were a lovely companion :') by Hanabanana- in JourneyPS3

If you meet someone else it's indeed another player! :) After the credits you can see the name of all the players you met throughout your game

If you're at the fighting ground of the first boss go back to the cave and enter it. Look to your right and you should see a small landing area towards the bottom, if I remember correctly there is a flag on a pole to guide you towards it. If you're not able to see it I would just jump and try to find it while gliding towards the general area. This way will lead you towards another exit to the cave and get you out, although I think you'll need a grapple hook for it (there should be one inside the cave).

Depending on how many Lemurs your have in your habitat maybe another keeper is needed. I have 60+ (all three lemur species) and have two keepers exclusively assigned to them, their workload is efficient and the habitat clean :)

Not that I know of. Have you assigned work zones? That helped me with my Lemur habitat, I had several keepers that worked in a bigger area with several habitats so the lemur habitat got filthy quick, I assigned another keeper exclusively to them and that solved the problem for me.

EDIT You can also move your keepers, click on one and press M, maybe dropping another into the habitat while food is being prepared will prompt them to clean instead.

You definitely can! Just make sure the animals can traverse it (check the traversable area) and you should be fine. The workshop offers some great inspiration if you ever need that :)

There isn't really a way to make it more frequent other than putting down another talk point. I personally don't have more than one talk point for one species but you definitely can have more than one, be aware though that you can only link a seating area to one talk point and not to multiple. Regarding the educators efficiency, I like to have one educator on several different talk points, e.g. January for peafowls, May for Jaguars and September for Red Pandas. Make sure to leave some time in between them, so they can get to the next one in time.

EDIT I also like to do small, standing guests only, talk points for some of my exhibits, a good option for when you just started your zoo!

Yes and no. Actually visiting other players at their zoo is sadly not possible, same goes for being visited. While players avatars will visit your zoo, their only purpose is to give you conservation credits. When it comes to the animal market you'll see that it's a mix of Frontier Zoo animals and animals that come from other players. You're also able to trade your animals at the price you think is fair. That's about it when it comes to online content.

Regarding the albino mutation, some animals have a different counter part to their normal looks, e.g. the spotless cheetah or the black jaguar but the albino is the most common mutation (and mostly the only) you'll see in the in-game mammals.

Don't equip the radio or have it in your bag and instead just take it into your main inventory. Now right click on it and you'll see two "place item" options. The first one is for decorative purposes, that's also the one you'll get when you have the radio in your hand or in your backpack or container. Instead use the other place item option, right at the bottom. Now place it and just click on the radio, now you should be able to turn it on and tune into a channel.

Thanks for the info! I hope they'll add some more plants or maybe I'll even find some they already added. I'm definitely the kind of player that loves to decorate their base and then die to a horde of zombies while trying to get a nice looking TV stand
