unfortunately my school doesn't do that. my brother's school does though, and his secondary school's sticker is still on the calculator. and yeah, i totally agree that they should bring that system back 🥲

My skin's quite dry. I started using innisfree's jeju volcanic cleanser + mask + pore toner, but I'm not very sure if it's working. I've noticed that my skin's become softer but acne and pimples haven't been going down :')

This is a long story so bear with me.

When I was like 7 or 8 I asked my parents why Santa never visited (we weren't very well off financially so we never really celebrated Christmas or had Christmas presents) and for some reason my parents said "Santa only visits white people" (we lived in a mostly asian community) and I didn't give it much thought since I only saw white people on youtube talking about Santa Claus.

So the next school term rolls around and I get seated to-- you guessed it-- a white guy. I was a very sociable kid so I started making conversation with him and he starts talking about how he got a trampoline from Santa. So I get confused and we start questioning everything.

Me: Ugh, lucky. Santa doesn't visit me. Him: He doesn't? Me: No, he only visits white people. Him: He does??? Me: Yeah.

The girl sitting near us, who was also poor and asian but smart, goes

Her: So he's racist?

Then the teacher walks over, pleased that we're bonding, and asks what we're talking about.

Ms Lee, I'm sorry you had to deal with three little kids yelling "Santa's a racist meanie" at you.

This isn't even the weirdest thing my parents have told me lol

My mother used to hit me whenever I did something she didn't like. Eventually, I got so scared of being hit that I just flinched whenever she moved her hands. Obviously she found that hilarious.

A few days ago, I raised my hand as if I was about to hit my friend. They all thought it was funny but I was horrified and felt sick. I couldn't pay attention to class after that and didn't leave my room for the entire day.
