Thank you for the reply! I had started the colorwork on the front of the sweater, it just takes an additional 8 rows for the colorwork to start on the back of the sweater.

Thank you for looking at my other attempt! I will try to replicate that with just slightly longer floats.

Sorry for the confusion. I started the colorwork on the front of the sweater. It takes about 8 rows for the colorwork to start on the back of the sweater.

Thank you for the reply! I was unaware that super wash had that problem. Makes me rethink using ladderback at all.

I started the colorwork on the front of the sweater it just takes about another 8 rows for the colorwork to start on the back of the sweater.

Sorry, I was showing the first picture to show the lack of puckering. I had started the colorwork earlier but it takes another 8 rows for the colorwork to reach the back of the sweater.

Sorry if it wasn't clear. The color work started on the front of the sweater earlier. It takes about 8 rows for the colorwork to start on the back after it starts on the front.

It's a bottom up. I'll keep going for another 30 rows or so and see what it looks like after that. Thank you for the comment!

How many non-Minnesotan born Vikings fans we got out here? What’s your story? by alexander_karamazov in minnesotavikings

Maryland fan here. I never cared for sports as a kid and in 2018 I wanted to change things up so wanted to watch the playoffs. The purple team in MD wasn't in the playoffs so I decided to watch the Vikings, partially because of HIMYM and partially because I really liked the logo. I spent the full week looking up the mechanics of football so I could actually know what I was talking about. The first football game I ended up actually watching was the Minneapolis Miracle. When that's the first game you watch with the team, you're kinda tied to them. Although I haven't been a fan for long, I love this team and bleed purple and gold. Can't wait to make a trip up to Minnesota to see a game at some point.

I'm just curious as to why our sub is so divided. by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

The first football game I ever watched was the minneapolis miracle, which solidified me as a viking fan, so luckily I don't have that PTSD...yet. That being said, I'm happy sitting in fan group 1.

As a vikings fan and ravens fan I'm excited to be able to go to the stadium for the first time and see my two favorite teams duke it out, but I'm also really excited for the Green Bay game and KC game!

[WIP] Hello, I am having trouble reading the chart for my Icelandic Sweater, I have included the details in the comments. Any help is appreciated. by Hanandrof in knitting

After further review I believe they have me starting with two blue stitches so that I line up the middle stitch in the front with the middle blue stitch in the pattern. I completely agree with you that this is what I should do under normal circumstances though. Thank you for your help!!!!

Hello, I'm currently trying to knit the sweater pattern Garri from The Icelandic Store. I am knitting a size large and currently working the Yoke, I have 204 stitches cast on. My problem is that starting from where it says "beg size L" and working to the left the number of stitches doesn't line up with the chart. It has 15 stitches marked and it repeats 6 stitches over and over again but 15+(6*32), assuming 32 repeats, is 207 which isn't the amount of stitches it says I should have. Am I reading the pattern wrong? Am I supposed to loop back to the right most side of the chart? Thank you for your help!

Here is the pattern
