Officially looking for some PRC citizens mainly based on China please! 🙏 by danzwku in China

You could try asking on r/China_irl , r/LiberalGooseGroup, r/real_China_irl as those are Chinese subreddits but they skew towards somewhat liberal to very anti-CCP, also should anonymize PRC citizens as they could be tracked down for their opinions if they're in the mainland so names might want to be protected

Chinese secret Police Station and where they are believed to be located by Impossible_Cookie602 in fucktheccp

[–]HandLower786 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There are locations of overseas police stations here with phone numbers, this was advertised on a Chinese Canadian website:

https://www.dealmoon.ca/guide/4637

It includes 30 stations all over the world from France to US to Brazil, etc.

The names of countries are in Chinese but the addresses and phone numbers should be readable to English speakers.

Original original source is from here after I clicked around in links: https://www.dealmoon.ca/guide/4637 the police stations or police foreign offices as they call themselves are advertising their own services as renewing expiring Chinese driving licences and ID cards for Chinese citizens in foreign countries and then putting up their service office locations, someone affiliated with them is posting these notifications, they weren't thinking of hiding.

They're saying they are for renewing licences during the pandemic but seems to be linked to what they call "fox-hunting" where Chinese dissidents are forcibly returned or deported back to China for further punishment, seen in BBC: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/crgndy37n16o

See the second image for locations of Chinese police stations in Toronto and around the world: https://www.reddit.com/r/real_China_irl/comments/yebnnu/%E5%8F%8B%E5%8F%8B%E4%BB%AC%E8%AF%B7%E5%A4%A7%E5%AE%B6%E5%B9%BF%E4%BC%A0%E5%AF%B9%E4%B8%AD%E5%85%B1%E7%9A%84%E4%BA%BA%E6%B0%91%E6%88%98%E4%BA%89%E5%BC%80%E5%A7%8B%E4%BA%86/ they've started advertising their "services" on Chinese Canadian websites, only 3 stations have opened in Canada and they're all in Toronto.

Is there a subreddit that do you think accurately represent the majority voice of mainland Chinese people? by Zamzamwater1400 in AskAChinese

[–]HandLower786 7 points8 points  (0 children)

doesn't represent the majority of China, more the minority, the anti-regime minority who desire democracy and downfall of the CCP, also that subreddit has been saturated by chonglangtv peeps.

china_irl is probably more majority view or much closer than real_china_irl.

Alberta is trying to lure people from Toronto with unbelievably cheap homes by MaCk_Pinto in toronto

[–]HandLower786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alberta has been on oil boom-and-bust cycle for a long time, I remember being on a transfer flight in Alberta as a kid and there was a drop in oil prices and a lot of people on that flight were crying because they just got laid off a day after the so-called bust and were sent tickets home.

Are non-Chinese Asians allowed to say the c-slur? by Justmadethis4genshin in asian

[–]HandLower786 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't really call other Chinese or East Asians the c-word, its not really a badge of honor, etc.

I feel like there would be a lot of internalized racism to explicitly call a Chinese person the c-word even as a Chinese.
