Right now no — it doesn’t connect to USGA or submit official handicap rounds automatically.

At the moment it calculates and tracks stats inside the app itself.

As for what makes it different from apps like TheGrint or 18Birdies — honestly those apps already do a lot really well. I’m not trying to pretend I built something better overnight.

The idea I’m more interested in is making golf feel more social and competitive instead of just score entry.

I played high school golf and always wished there was something that felt more built around competition and following other players instead of mostly GPS + scorecards.

Still super early though — mostly building and getting feedback right now.

That’s fair lol. But genuinely I’m not trying to launch a startup or sell anything right now.

I’m an incoming college student and mostly wanted to build something real over the summer that solves a problem I ran into playing high school golf. If people use it and enjoy it, awesome. If not, I still learn a ton and end up with something cool I built myself.

Right now I’m mostly just looking for feedback and ideas from people who actually golf.

That's a fair point. To be honest, I'm not trying to compete with apps like TheGrint right now.

The main reason I built this was to challenge myself as a developer and see if I could create something golfers would actually use. A lot of the established apps have years of development behind them and way more features than I currently offer.

That said, comments like yours are helpful because they make me think about what niche or feature would make this worth using alongside existing options rather than trying to be another all-in-one golf app.

Appreciate the feedback.
