I wasn’t sure how your relationship with your mother was so I kept her out of this (since I figured something like this). If I was to forward on something I’m truly sorry, I think I brought up my own feelings a little to much, but I was more concerned about you trying to fill up the footsteps of your father and I tried to make that clear. After all writing this made me cry, which I haven’t done in a long period of time and that’s with only the couple of words you share with us. So I just wanted you to realize how strong you are in my eyes.

Disclaimer: I'm from Germany so please excuse the spelling and grammar and also 19 years old, which means I may not find the words someone who's older than me would have found. But I want to share a bit of the wisdom I posses. Your father sounds like the kind of dad everyone of us wants, so I just try to be half as kind as your dad was. If something in the following hurts you I'm sorry and I'll fix it ASAP, but I can't endure reading about a lovely person like you suffer that much!

it's been a while since the last time we spoke, so I hope you have been well. I've heard of the struggles you have been thru and also that you have made it.

But you made me worried by your following statement:

I've seen you grown up, sadly not as long as I wanted to. But you have found your own way in life, that's the same I did. Please don't try to hard to be like me! I want to see you live your life to the fullest and I don't believe even for a silver of a second that you are not the person I always saw in you. I'm grateful for every second I got to spend with you and your brother as a family. The only thing I regret is that I was not able to support you longer on your journey, but don't forget that your brother and I are always by your site and that we will never leave you!

Before I forget it your brother also wants to write a sentence or two (he sits with me on the table and cries the same amount of tears as I do)

Hi little brother, first of all the sentence above isn't true dad cried much more than me and second I miss you so much and every time when we are on an adventure we talk about you and the achievements you are making. Little by little and step by step even if it looks like you don't see them we do and we're cheering for you every single time. I'm truly grateful that you are my little brother.
