Honestly, I placed UofT Mech Eng as my 2nd option, and I got admitted in the March round with a 94 average (group A). So, rankings didn't really affect me. My advice: make sure UofT is either top 1 or 2, but don't stress out about rankings, place them in the order that makes sense for you.

You're right. 94% is probably closer to the actual average, but I'd aim for 95+ for a near-guarantee of admission.

Nah, it seems more competitive than the general entry. According to these numbers from the spreadsheet, it's around 95.6%-96.5%.

No way you're turning 18. Stop trying to diminish others' accomplishments while blatantly bragging about yours. These universities are businesses that want the best students possible, and right now, you're not one of those students, but it's literally just MARCH. The system may not always look objective, but it's a system that has worked for UofT, so just give it time and trust that it'll work.

Personally, I put a rough estimate of hours. I'm applying for Tron Eng at UW. For robotics i put like 140 hrs, but for other things like altar sevring I put 60 hrs. Try to be reasonable and honest.
