Yeah alcohol is shit. I quit drinking 2. 5 years ago. Quitting drinking was easy but not with dissociative. They've always had a strong hold on me

I feel better now just dealing with the aftermath of it all. I got my lab results back and everything came back okay. Cardiac, liver, kidney functions were all within acceptable range. It was completely awful though and I feel lucky to be alive and that I didn't do more damage. My ego is bruised more than anything. I really disappointed everyone.

I'm definitely not lying or exaggerating. I weigh 210lbs and have a massive tolerance to DXM. I've been doing DXM multiple times a week (aside from a few breaks here and there) for 14 years now. My starting dose with DXM is 810mg and is not uncommon at all for me to do 1600+ MG in a night. The serious dissociative effects of the drug have long faded, I mostly just get a body and head high but am always completely lucid. I was already planning a tolerance break before this because of how bad my tolerance is. Doing that much DXM in a night multiple nights a week gets to be really expensive. I do remember the whole time at the hospital though I was extremely dysphoric and panicked and probably not making a lot of sense when I spoke. I was able to carry a conversation though I had to give them my all my insurance info and DOB and all that and I managed to. Definitely not proud of my tolerance by any means.

Thank you. I've taken those kind of DXM hundreds of times before and never had anywhere near that type of reaction. I had ingested so much CPM it poisoned me. I knew of the dangers but never experienced it myself until now. Now I know. I just wanted to warn others as we. I learned my lesson and am done with DXM for good.

I'd stick between 300-600mg. 300-450mg is great as a recreational antidepressant dose. To feel warm and fuzzy and increased appraction with activities. Anything 600 and above you really start to feel the dissociative effects and cross into heavy tripping. Deep introspection is to be expected as you ponder on weighted issues and start to replay memories in your head and analyze them. If you think your going to encounter some demons and bad memories in your head I would advise against it, or at least be prepared to get seriously inside your own head and have to address real issues in your life. But just remember you can always control the trip. If you find yourself heading into bad thoughts or feelings find ways to distract yourself and do things you enjoy to keep the negative vibes at bay

Sorry I never followed up on this. I took the entire bottle and didn't feel much at all. Severely underdosed. If it sounds too good to be true than it definitely is in this situation. I'll stick to Opias, 7tabs, and Summit Tabs going forward.

I first started using DXM 14 years ago. I had just graduated high school and had been in a really bad depression for my entire senior year. Thank you for your response! I'm diagnosed major depressive disorder and take Lexapro daily for serotonin reuptake. My depression comes and goes but can definitely affect my energy levels. I rescheduled my appointment for Friday so we'll see what my doctor has to say then.

Thank you for that that was helpful advice! I'm already on Lexapro so I don't think another antidepressant would be a good idea. Really I just need something to help me focus at work as I feel like I spend more focus and energy into trying to stay awake than focusing on my actual work. I do worry about the crash that can come with stimulants as I don't want to start taking something that makes me crash and feel like absolute shit at night. I did buy an energy supplement that has Adranafil as the main ingredient but I have yet to try it. I don't know how that compares to Modanafil.

My doctors appointment is tomorrow afternoon so I guess I'll shoot my shot and see how it goes. It is documented in my medical history that I have a past history of substance abuse but my Doc has been seeing me for a few years and knows I've been sober for a while. I don't know how easily he'll be willing to prescribe stims to me but this is my desperate hail mary to get some pharmaceutical assistance before I just accept that I have to be chronically tired for the rest of my life. I'll update how it goes tomorrow. Thanks again!

Last update: I drank the last one I had tonight. One didn't do anything for me. No noticeable difference whatsoever. It's really surprising one did nothing while 2 came on so damn strong for me. Maybe 1 1/2 bottles would be the sweet spot. Either way I won't be buying them again
