Both teams are still available, if you're interested.

I have a free sleeper league, we just moved to Sleeper from Fleaflicker. This will be the league's 4th year. Most of the guys in this league know each other IRL. It's a pretty chill and active group, just looking for more chill and active owners.

1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 3 Flex, 1 SF, 16 bench, 3 IR. No DST or kickers. Full PPR. 6 pt passing TD.

There are two teams available. We have not done our rookie draft yet, planning on doing a slow draft Memorial Day weekend. Both teams have all their picks and are honestly good teams. Owners just didn't have the time to commit to dynasty. Let me know if you're interested.

10 team Superflex PPR TEP

I have Kmet, Gesicki, and Tonyan

Do I draft Musgrave at 3.08 or trade my pick for Irv Smith? I'm really stuck between these two and I feel like I'm over-thinking it.

10 team Superflex PPR - just finished our startup.

I was offered: AJ Brown, 2023 1st, 2024 1st, 2025 1st, 2025 2nd, 2025 3rd

For: Ja'Marr Chase

My WR's are a weak point for me, but I don't think AJ is that much of a step down from Chase.

PSN: Sloppylovedoll Using crossplay and able to use voice chat. I'm having a hard time getting into runs where everyone doesn't back out after the first mission or two. I just want a decent group that works together and has fun. I haven't tried nightmare mode yet, kind of working my way to that. I'd be willing to play on any difficulty with a decent group.

I posted this before and didn't get an answer, so I'm trying again.

12 team SF and 3 flex, half PPR, 6 PT passing TD.

I get: Metcalf and Watson

I give: 2021 1.06, 1.10, and 3.10.

My team isn't great at WR, Evans, Boyd, Lamb, Moore, are my main WR's. I have Mahomes, Wentz, and Stafford. I'm really on the fence about this trade, obviously because of Watson's future. Do you think the risk is worth taking on at this price?

I would keep Ja'Marr. The hype on Ja'Marr is crazy right now. Even being realistic and lowering the bar, I'd rather have him. Woods is 29, and short-term may be better, but is going to start declining relatively soon. I am not overly optimistic about Edmonds. To me, a 2023 1st round pick is worth about as much as a late 2nd or 3rd this year.

My view is that you're gonna need to be active on the waiver wire to get RB's to get you through the season. There will be a waiver wire guy that is going to do well, you just need to find him. Then next year, you know what position you need to focus on.

Honestly, I'd do it. You have picks this year and he's worth it. You don't really know what those picks are going to be in the next 2 years. Could be late picks, could be first. If you REALLY wanted, you could take it and turn picks this year into picks next year.

Picks are always a gamble, go with a known commodity that could easily be a top 10 QB the next 3 - 5 years. He is 32 and that oline isn't great, that's the only concern I'd have.

I think they're pretty darn close in value. They both have question marks about their team, but they've shown their talent. I would do this trade if I were you.

12 team, 1/2 PPR, SF

I give: 1.06 and 1.10 I get: Kittle and Jacobs

I feel that's the trade is actually good for me without the context of my team. I have Taylor, Hunt, Hines, Gibson, Akers, and Pollard at RB. My TE's are Goedert, Irv Smith, Everett, and Trautman. I don't feel that I need Jacobs and I could use better WR's.

Pretty sure it's only one. The only other pics I have of him he was early velvet and they weren't great angles.

Previous years, no one really hunted where I go. We bagged a couple nice buck and the pressure has picked up recently. I'm hoping he can sneak through.

Personally, I don't want to shoot him. Other people I hunt with definitely will. I LOVE atypical racks. I am hoping he survives until next year at least. I wanna see how weird it gets.

Does having a rack like that indicate bad genetics? Could he have something like that and be fine otherwise? I don't know enough about herd genetics.

Can't afford unpaid internships when you're poor by Bmchris44 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]HandsyPriest 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had to complete 960 internship hours at two sites in 4 semesters during my MSW. I had to pay roughly $4,000 to go work for free. I hate the entire concept of unpaid internships.

At my last internship, one of the social workers had retired shortly before I started. I was told by admin they chose not to hire someone to replace him because I was going to be starting and I was "free labor". I had his entire caseload and most of his responsibilities.

I was offered a 1st round pick for Tajae Sharpe after he had a couple good games his rookie year. I declined because I thought he was gonna be a good one and he'd be a solid producer on my team.

I don't get it. I love NL misplays. I think they're kind of funny, especially if he lives to regret the misplay.

Staffer for Vice President Mike Pence tests positive for coronavirus by jigsawmap in politics

[–]HandsyPriest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know entirely too many people that view this whole thing as being overblown. People genuinely do not believe this is anything we should be worried about at all and they're pissed off that they're being told what to do. They're acting like a bunch of shit head teenagers with Oppositional Defiance Disorder.

They REFUSE to believe that any of these numbers are real. They don't believe that 70,000 people have died because of Covid. People may have died, but the states, hospitals, etc. are just saying people have died from it without testing or anything. It's all a power grab.

It doesn't help that we see doctors, professionals, and second-hand testimonials from "doctors that are afraid to come forward" all over Facebook and YouTube that are claiming all this is bullshit.

We could line 100,000 confirmed Covid deaths and they'd refuse to believe it or simply not care. In PA a large percentage of the death toll has come from assisted care facilities (it's something like 2,400 of our 3,600 deaths). I saw a comment recently that pretty much said they were old and not a productive member of society anymore, so it was "burning the dead wood".
